- This video describes the purchase, assembly setup, and review of the Pro-Form Trainer 8.7 treadmill. The treadmill was purchased at Costco online at COSTCO.COM. The PROFORM Trainer 8.7 comes with iFit and requires either activation or a hack to bypass the activation process. This video may be applicable to other Pro-Form models such as the Carbon TL, Carbon TLX, Premier 1300, Cadence, Pro 2000, and Pro 9000.

Sorry, No. That's something I hadn't heard of for a treadmill. I would think the speed controller and speed display are digitally tied in with the motor and are not "adjustable", but I don't know.
Would I be able to reset it to not use the ifit function like if i buy it from someone who already activated it?
You should be able to. I believe the unit even has a "factory reset" button if you need to use it.
Have you tried to connect a heart rate monitor?
