my dad lost his baby brother in a bike accident the day cowys came out actually, august 15 2017. my uncle and my dad were similar to oskar and gus in a sense - their father was very abusive and my uncle was basically raised by my dad. well, dad was the oldest out of three and essentially raised the two younger ones but he preferred his youngest brother. he taught him everything he knew. i've never seen my dad so broken. from what liza said oskar had the same reaction. i guess i'm a little glad i don't have siblings, i'll never have to experience that kind of pain

I recently discovered lil peeps music. I feel bad bc like a lot of people I judged him as another mumble rapper. I watched the doc and could not have been more wrong. I became super interested in this captivating young artist and started fuckin with his music. I was a little blown away and caught off guard. He was obviously so talented and so creative. His music really makes me feel something and his voice is beautiful. It was like nothing I had ever heard, and it was like listening to the evolution of music. Now I know what a devastating, tragic loss it was for everyone who knew him and the world of music. He was just beginning this amazing journey and was still a kid, and he was surrounded by a lot of other dumb kids trying to be rockstars. I think of all he had left to give, the music to make, but I know he had bigger plans for himself. If he was surrounded with people who were looking out for him, or if he could have gotten some treatment for his mental health. It is devastating we will never get to hear his evolution and see him mature and grow up. But very grateful that he got to live out a dream and we get to hear this very unique special artist. He's like a shooting star burning so bright for a very brief magical moment. Rest easy Lil Peep. I hope wherever you are at peace. You and your music are still touching lives.

I’ve never heard Oskar before but he really seems a very good guy, and a very interesting person and I’m really sorry for his loss (And all the remembering) Idk why but I didn’t feel like he was how he really is, gus is just like him, two angels. The only thing that I didn’t really like was the other guy, I mean, it seems like he don’t really care about Oskar’s feelings and keeps asking him questions about Gus without really paying attention to him. I’m sorry for that.
All I have are my mom and my lil bro... Gus' lyrics resonate with me like very few things ever have. His music makes me feel...so real. I feel like his soul was like that of mine. But he was an angel 💜 His brother and mom are so pure as well, it really is amazing.
