Can you explain in a bit more detail the way Ryan breaks your arm down when you have inside control and than he goes over the top? It does the same thing to the uke's arm as what you did in your previous video. Breaks it down and closes the distance but yesterday you used it to get your arm on the outside to get that over the top grip while Ryan keeps his hand on the lapel.
As a lefty this dumb, we all know you gotta bring the offense. So a lefty standings there toe toe not leaping into an Osoto, driving you back for the uchi, or getting ready to send youover his back deserve to get taken apart. That’s why we annoy righty’s because we come out hot and usually first.
@JSL it’s all interesting how personal style plays out I’ve heard in traditional Japanese schools everyone is right hand no matter what. Left is hard to fake their are less of us. I think it’s mental also to my point earlier I am naturally off stance setting myself up to get thrown or single legged. I’ve tried right stance to confuse and it messes me up. I couldn’t imagine faking an off stance.
Hmph. More anti-leftie Judo discrimination. 🤨 It's okay, though. I just replayed the video while holding my smartphone up to a mirror and now I know how to take care of righties. 🙃
So simple and easy to use. I know the lefty’s are steaming right now 😂. Great tip sensei 🙇🏾♂️
You're welcome! Just wait until I show the lefties what to do!
I know I am haha
Brillant !!! Lefties will hate you :) - The transition grips / sumi gaeshi seems so evident !
It's a great move that can trick a lot of people.
i am happy you come back with new videos. It is a very effective tips for judoka who do not love lefties;). Thanks a lot!!!!

What also works is kata guruma in this situation. Catch them while they put the elbow over your arm :)
