- Bard has a bad reputation in the world of AI SEO, but what if I told you that it’s actually good at producing niche keyword research results.
Considering the information is coming direct from the horse's mouth, it makes it and interesting as hell concept to use Bard for Keyword Research in SEO.
After doing some testing, I realized that the information given by Bard, is actually better quality and better keywords with better traffic, and even better content ideas, than ChatGPT.
If you were to take my last two keyword videos:
ChatGPT Code Interpreter is INSANE for SEO Keyword Research
ChatGPT Powered Keyword Research: Steal Your Competitor’s Topical Authority 🤫
And write all of that content, in my opinion the content here from Bard would actually rank better. It seems to have a more intuitive understanding of the task given, and seems to have access to keyword data as well.
Here are the prompts used in this video:
Bard, I need keyword suggestions. I will give you a niche. I want you to imagine you're an SEO expert working for a big fashion company. I want you to base your keyword suggestions on the most popular searches in menswear in August 2023. Can you use google trends and other tools to identify these trends for me? I want really niche things which can be a bit easier to rank for. We sell brands such as Kiton, Cesare Attolini, the website is 2men.it. We sell everything from suits, jeans sneakers, to loafers and everything else
Bard, imagine you are the owner of a classic menswear website. Imagine you have covered all of the standard topics in the subject like "best suits" etc. I want to now expand into a few more niched-down topics. Could you please give me 10 suggestions for articles which will bring traffic to my website by increasing my topical authority. Please don't use duplicate topics, as defined by Google as being two topics which are basically the same thing, even if the content itself is different.
#bard #seo #chatgpt #google
Imagine you are an affiliate marketer. You are writing for a niche about birdwatching. Could you give me 30 ideas for articles I could write that will lead to both clicks on my website, but that will also potentially lead to affiliate sales.
Give me a list of 10 high-traffic keywords related to [topic].
Give me a list of 10 low-competition keywords related to [topic].
Come up with 5 blog post ideas for [topic].
Brainstorm with me on blog post ideas for [topic].
Give me a list of keywords related to [topic] that are also related to [other topic].
Give me a list of keywords related to [topic] that are also popular on social media.
Give me a list of keywords related to [topic] that are also trending right now.

Holy crap man this was such an eye opener. I actually used the prompts from your other video "give me a blog outline for this post [post]" And then i did the "write out the paragraphs for tip number 1" My blog post is 10 tips for selling your paintings online and IT LEGIT GAVE ME PICTURES AND LINKS TO 3 DIFFERENT PLATFORMS for "1. Choose the right platform." BRO THIS IS CRAZY GOOD
I use bard a lot for keywords Then write with Chat Gpt Then Use Bard For Layout I Instruct it to use Reader Friendly Format Sometimes adds pictures to 👍
Great tip, thanks!
Whoa, this is very fascinating❗
I didn't realise Bard could be so helpful for SEO keyword research.
I'll have to use Bard for my upcoming keyword research without a doubt.
We appreciate you sharing your knowledge and experiences with us as
well as providing the prompts.❗
Great stuff Hamish - Keep up the good work! 😁
Another great video. Tried logging in and keep getting told my account is not supported?
I'll go check out your chatGPT videos.
I do like Google Bard for this reason. I use it every day to get relevant # and keywords for social media platforms.
I instantly started using it like this when bard came out
Good video , thank you!
Can you do a video about image sourcing and how to search for images for our blog , my niche require a lot of images, and I am struggling with that
I was very reluctant to use Bard...up until I watched this video. Will definitely be using it for keyword/content ideas, then use ChatGPT or Koalawriter to create articles. Thanks for delivering so much value, consistently.
Brand is amazing. Just started using it today, and I think it has been updated alot since this video, because now it gives me more detailed content to blog post ideas and adds images. Amazing. and again thank you, you are amazing.
Awesome video, detailed and very informative. Thanks
Bard couldn't go out and look at a website, but when I copied in an article of mine it gave fantastic advice about the existing SEO and how to improve it when I prompted it to.
Hey sounds intresting can you elaborate more on your prompt?
@@gabrielshulga4953 It was very simple. I just asked "Please tell me about the SEO in this article:" and copied the article into the prompt. It gave some great commentary. Then I asked "Is there anything I can do to improve the SEO?" and it gave me more valid stuff I recognized from experience.
In your video you mention that a certain KEYWORD has search volume and it follows that you know this because it is the niche where you work. However, in the case that it was a totally new niche, it would be convenient to see a table with the keywords selected by Bard where the volume, the difficult keyword (KD) and trends are shown. I would like you to be able to recommend the PROMPT that should be used for that purpose.
Here's the kind of prompt I use:
Suggest low competition keywords for "your niche". Create a table with only the following headings: "Keywords", Search Volume", "Keword Difficulty"
FANTASTIC! Thankjs for all your videos.
Good work mate
Nice work and thanks for the video. I will try Bard a bit more now. Also did you or Julian have a downloadable keyword template? I cant remember.
I can barely keep up with you! So if I'm designing my workflow based on your most recent videos I would do: keyword research with Bard --> article suggestions using Bard and/or Code Interpreter --> blog posts using prepping with ChatGPT 4. Am I on the right track, Hamish?
These are all different ways to do the same thing. I am judging them against my knowledge of the website. What I'm basically saying is: writing any of these topics will increase your traffic, because the way keywords are generated by chatgpt/bard - it uses logical or analytical research methods. The reason I'm always doing this niche is because I can say which topics are good or bad.
My words are finished ... dont know what to say anymore 👏👏👏👏👏
What do you use for generating images for your blog posts AI or stock pics if AI which one and can you please share prompts
Can you get the accurate monthly search volume and KW difficulty from Google Bard as well?
Can we do without Google keyword planner? Insm
Willing automate this stuff.
Fantastic video! I have been using Bard for awhile but not this targeted. Thank you so much.
what about keyword research Amazon for kdp
Actually not working for me, it says: "As a language model, I'm not able to assist you with that."
Okay I tested around and it seems like it depends on your niche and what information you give bard exactly. In my first attempts I gave it example keywords but he refused to do it. Also I told him he worked for my website as a seo expert. Now in my final prompt I kept it more general like your original prompt. I told him taht he is working for a website that is working in my specific niche and what we are selling etc without too many details. And then instead of giving him example keywords I kept it more general too and explained to him what my target audience is and how they behave normally.
Bard is A M A Z I N G for SEO
Another corker......great work as per usual 👍🇬🇧👌
Please can you tell me which of your videos shows how to embed product images with links for a shopify blog? Thanks!
It’s just called Hura collection Embedder it works really well it’s a plug-in
@Incomestreamsurfers awesome thanks!
Do you recommend using BARD as a writer or maybe the opposite given that it is Google's tool? But who cares, does the google care that I could have vast fragments copied from its tool?
If you ask it to use keyword planner it states that it does not do that because its a paid tool for adsense. So i doubt it. I use it for Dutch keywords, but they are garbage. 10 avg searches and highly competative. So it might work for you, i would advise you to do more research about other niches and maybe other languages aswell.
I’m saying if you write about these topics you’ll get traffic. I’d stand by that for any language. 10 avg searches and highly competitive for how many words in a keyword? You don’t know what they’ll randomly rank for and that’s my point. These are all winners for my niche - and I bet they are for yours too.
If everyone can ask ChatGPT or Bard the information they need, isn't that the end of blogging and SEO?
Nope. RUclips and Entertainment of writing is very much in.
Thank your H❤
Thanks i know what ill do tomorrow 😂
2nd
3rd? lol
