I think some are confusing value bourbon with budget bourbon. Wild Turkey Rare breed may not be a budget bourbon, but it is a value for a barrel proof bourbon at twenty dollars less than most other barrel proofs. Evan Williams BIB is both a value and a budget bourbon, can't argue that.
Love the channel, did my first in home blind flight fight, all things I like and keep in the house but still surprised by the outcome. 1. Wild Turkey 101 2. Old Forester Rye 100 proof 3. Evan William's bib 100 proof 4. Knob Creek single barrel reserve 120 proof I plan to try this another day to see if the outcome changes. Not how I would have ranked them not blind. Keep up the good work.
Chad I think the gym shorts are the reason your "bar cart" video got so many views!! lol, Great video you two, always fun to be a part of the community.
Great work again. I’d like to offer one suggestion for next year - based on market research best practices. When collecting the votes, you should find out which of the nominated bottles the voter tasted. Otherwise you run the risk of an echo chamber. This was especially true on the limited edition vote. If voters didn’t have the opportunity to try any of the nominations, you’re results will be clouded by info voters gathered from social media outlets vs actual opinions. If you tried a product you’re voting for, it should carry more weight than the non-taster. Love your show!!
Great video! I would LOVE to see the international awards category. I was recently introduced to Nikka Whiskey from the Barrel, and surprised how much I loved it. As always, great videos. Keep up the great work! 🥃
Not trying to rub it in but the wellers have been good to me this year. I managed to score all the wellers at retail besides the CYPB but a buddy of mine won it in a raffle so I was fortunate enough to try them all.
Great vid y’all !!! Really wonderful! Yes the Old Forester Rye is a really nice and spicy rye bourbon for the price, and definitely is one to try if someone hasn’t. I certainly recommend it. And I do like the fact that it is 100 proof. Has some nice kick with that Old Forester foundation of flavor. Cheers! Oh and am a big fan of New Riff.
Love your channel. I also think EC B was better. The awards show seems like picking your favorite vehicle to drive out of a Ford or a Lamborghini(maybe a space shuttle in some instances).
Great show Guy's.....yes for Best International category...Being Canadian I am naturally a huge JP Wisers lover, they have some amazing Impressions...check out their LE NHL Captains series, its amazing !
This isn’t meant as a bragging comment at all. Weller Full Proof is completely worth the hype and it’s a bottle I always pour when I have a friend who wants to try a premium bourbon.
The Dickel 13 was the second worst whiskey I've ever had. I tried it blind twice and the pronounced vitamin note lingered for minutes. I gave it to my friends and they mixed it with Coke. I don't see how this even left the distillery.
ECBP C919 was my favorite BP of the year(better than B519 imo), but I didn't get any of the BTAC or the stagg jr batch 12, the last stagg jr I found on the shelf was batch 10.
Wait a hot second...Early Times BiB didn't even make the value category?!?! C'mon it's a LITER for $25 or less. But hey, y'all keep touting EW BiB. I'll look to the left (at least at my store) and snag ET instead. Ok, love you guys and looking forward to more in 2020! Maybe I'll randomly run into you while in Kentucky next month. Still need to order some "Drink More Water" glasses...
Rare Breed is good but it's too hot 🔥 for me. Proof is too high. Thanks for all the info, y'all have turned me on to several good bourbons that I would've never tried otherwise.
I don't understand your "Best Value" picks. Evan BiB costs $18. WT101 is $20. Elijah is $30, Knob is $32 and Rare Breed $44! In comparison, Buffalo Trace costs $24.95 and wasn't in the running?
Well, we see "value" and "budget" as different categories, and maybe we should do a Best Budget category next year, but for us, Rare Breed is a good value for the quality of what you get in bottle for the price you pay. Rare Breed would not be in a budget category, which would have to be controlled by a certain price level and below.
It's Bourbon Night I don’t disagree, but to leave Trace out based on budget OR value is, to me, a disservice. Different strokes for different folks. Cheers!
I'm in favor of a international category. This may be one I could actually vote on, because 90% of the other stuff you're talking about, I can't take my hands on in central europe. Doesn't keep me from enjoying your show though. Cheers!
We didn't for a crowdsourced award because we do our Top 5 of 2019 show and Flight Fight that crowned our best of the year, but I think next year we will do a crowdsourced Bourbon of the Year.
Buffalo Trace.....the top distillery without enough stock to supply even their most basic offerings. The amount of money they have squandered the last 5 years by past poor management is truly insane.
I'm sure rare breed would be considered value if you're rich with a lot of land and a big mansion but I think most would consider it to be $30 and under.
@@ItsBourbonNight Just opened the Four Roses SB ($50) and it's incredibly disappointing (Warehouse No. NN Barrel No. 5-1 R). Tastes a whole lot like Early Times - even the finish is the same. Weak sauce. What a waste of money...
I will assume that a lot more people are able to get Stagg jr. As good as it is, not better than WLW. Could not vote for BT as the distillery of the year. Hardest to source bottles from, yes.
Old Forester Rye was the worst Rye I've ever had. I had it at the distillery during a tasting. I got straight rubbing alcohol with very little flavor. I know taste is very subjective depending on the person, but I'm usually not this turned away from a whiskey.
Fantastic awards show, Chad and Sara! You both look great dressed in 'formalwear' 😊 Cheers!
Best line of 2019: “Oh, is it bad? It ain’t good!!!” Lol! Definitely need more Eat More Bourbon episodes!!!
IT AIN'T GOOD
This was a lot of fun, guys. I watch here and there and this was a nice reminder that I need to go back and watch more. Cheers!
The Al Young Tribute made me tear up. I never met the man but definitely see the impact he has had on so many people and the industry in whole.
JakeW YakAngler Well put!
I couldn't stop staring at that award the entire video.
Love the channel, did my first in home blind flight fight, all things I like and keep in the house but still surprised by the outcome.
1. Wild Turkey 101
2. Old Forester Rye 100 proof
3. Evan William's bib 100 proof
4. Knob Creek single barrel reserve 120 proof
I plan to try this another day to see if the outcome changes. Not how I would have ranked them not blind.
Keep up the good work.
So much fun! Enjoyed the award show.🙂 definitely add the international award...
We go directly from "Is it bad, Well it ain't good" to "His sword is loose its unsheathed OWE No" priceless
Chad I think the gym shorts are the reason your "bar cart" video got so many views!! lol, Great video you two, always fun to be a part of the community.
Your content just keeps getting better! Keep it up!
That OGD 114 on the shelf is just asking for a mercy kill!
HA! Well, if it helps, I'm drinking my bottle tonight.
People say Flintstones vitamins like it’s a bad thing... those were awesome as a kid
You both are looking really awesome Chad and Sara, specially Sara is looking really beautiful. Content is like a pro level now all the best wishes

Thanks! We did noticed less people voted on the LE poll, hoping people didn't vote if they didn't have any of them. Thanks for your suggestion!
Hey, I voted for some of these! Wasn't sure what it was for. Cool to see the results now. Keep on keepin' on, guys!
The BNA'S has a nice ring to it!!!!! Love the video!!
Great video! I would LOVE to see the international awards category. I was recently introduced to Nikka Whiskey from the Barrel, and surprised how much I loved it.
As always, great videos. Keep up the great work! 🥃
Good show, young ones! Very well done. Looking sharp! Yes, Chad too.
Vote Yes: international whisky award. Please also cover whisky. love your shows
Sooooooo true regarding the Dickel BiB. I have a Dickel 12 I'm forcing myself through and its TOTALLY flinstone vitamin whiskey
Not trying to rub it in but the wellers have been good to me this year. I managed to score all the wellers at retail besides the CYPB but a buddy of mine won it in a raffle so I was fortunate enough to try them all.

Great episode
“It ain’t good” Best quote of 2019
Living for this video.
Hey Sara and Chad, Thanks for doing this guys✨ ✨it’s just getting better :)
Late to the party but yes on the best international and best bourbon categories.
12 bourbons is what made me sub! Awesome job!
Yes please, do have a international whiskey category next time. Thanks.
Love your channel. I also think EC B was better. The awards show seems like picking your favorite vehicle to drive out of a Ford or a Lamborghini(maybe a space shuttle in some instances).
I look fwd to this thank you. Andrè from New York
Another great award show! Cheers
Sara is gorgeous
I haven't even watched it and you get a thumbs up! LOOKING FORWARD TO IT!
Actually managed to get the Four Roses 2019 LE in England
Sara, your hair is lovely.
After watching this, Im going to find that eat more bourbon episode. That sounds like something I need to make immediately 🤤
Hey hey! My comment made the show!! Haha cheers 🥃

great job guys!
This isn’t meant as a bragging comment at all. Weller Full Proof is completely worth the hype and it’s a bottle I always pour when I have a friend who wants to try a premium bourbon.
Love the disclaimer!
Evan Williams bib is my go to value whiskey Russell's Reserve and Wildturkey 101 also favorites.
Time to go buy a case of EWBiB before the price jumps...
Good stuff guys 👍
I tried a store pick of Weller Full Proof and thought it was disgusting. I was shocked. I like the Weller line and was excited to try it.
Yes, please, do another cooking show :-)
Great video.

Love the c919...but that stagg batch 12 is a slight step above...
I agree Dickle bottled and bond is great I disagree with the flint stone vitamins but their also good for you 😂
New categories for next year; funniest moment, best bourbon for cocktail & cocktail with bourbon.
I MADE THE VIDEO!!!
Whiskey cheers

Agreed!!!
You know what I do when I’m at a new liquor store?
Eye brows
Great call. EW is my first choose.
International is a great idea
Thanks for the comment shoutout! On the Barrel Proof category would the two ECBP's have beat the Stagg jr if combined?
Jimidrammer Of course! And Percentage wise...yes. But the nominations were what they were.
Bourbon is still the best... but I would like to see an international award added
EXCELLENT!!!!
Please include an "international" category in the future!
The Foreign category should include any spirit not made in Kentucky.
Any good American malt whiskey?
Rare Breed is good but it's too hot 🔥 for me. Proof is too high. Thanks for all the info, y'all have turned me on to several good bourbons that I would've never tried otherwise.

Next year, if they do it, Best international winner will be Redbreast 12 Cask Strength!
U guys doing a 2020?

Doesn't keep me from enjoying your show though. Cheers!
How isn't Maker 46 Limited Release RC6 NOT at least on the list of limited list? Seriously?
Phantom Hemi It was a contender for our Best Bourbon of 2019 video but didn’t quite make the top 5. Great bourbon though.
Only hard to get I saw was the 4 Roses but couldn't bring myself to spend the $3-400
They didn’t do a bourbon of the year award?
We didn't for a crowdsourced award because we do our Top 5 of 2019 show and Flight Fight that crowned our best of the year, but I think next year we will do a crowdsourced Bourbon of the Year.
👏👏👏👏
hmm, well, Dickel is pretty amazing whisky and its always been so.
Rebecca Paige Rare Breed is under $40 here in Oregon.
@@trentdavis9216 $44 in Ohio.
Rare Breed wouldn't ever make a "budget" category, but we feel for what you get in the bottle, it is still a good value.
It's Bourbon Night At $38 MSRP, so is Elmer T. Lee. 😂
Why didn't Old Grand Dad 114 makes the choice for the most valued bourbon?
That's my budget go to
Guys - International Whiskey? ? ? - Tasmanian whiskey IF you can source it. Knock yourselves out
How much does the Evan Williams bottle n bond cost
14 to 15 bucks
nuthin' to speak of.
Can get a handle for $27 usually
Louis Healan I think it is a good mixer bourbon great for guests who may not appreciate Eagle or Larceny.
@@codyburgess7034 $21 @ TOTAL WINE...100 proof, bottled-in-bond.
How does this 4 roses compare to 4 roses single barrel
Timothy Shanley The LE verses the regular on the shelf single barrel? No contest, the LE is much better.

Who you got for distillery of the year ?
It's ok if it's unsheathed- you're married now
Also love LOVE the outfits. Formal bourbon night is so fun
#PerryShoutOut
Chad, if you are going to do this, you really need to invest in a tux.
Buffalo Trace lol. I can't find it within 130 miles. I did a state search. 👎
Speaking of gym shorts.. your tie is crooked
Did y’all get those outfits at GoodWill ?
Andy No but thanks for asking.
Is that girl aware of how ridiculous her eyebrows look?
Old Forester Rye was the worst Rye I've ever had. I had it at the distillery during a tasting. I got straight rubbing alcohol with very little flavor. I know taste is very subjective depending on the person, but I'm usually not this turned away from a whiskey.
Dickel wasn't divisive. Everyone knows it sucks
Was this the trailer trash awards? Rare Breed is not even in the same category of quality as its competitors. Rare Breed is amazing for the money.
Dammit girl! Put some clothes on. I'm trying really hard pay attention to the whisky.
Yawwwwwwn
Does anyone really care about any of these awards? Its coming from influencers.......
Joshua Ford Actually all of these results are crowd sourced from RUclips. We didn’t have any part in the winners.
