Another great breakdown...I've been watching the channel a month or two now and watched most of the match and thought a lot of the defending was tosh. I rememeber Man u's third goal the young Newcastle defender could hardly walk with cramp but obviously he should have been covering. Great work, learning loads mate...

Defending in EPL is terrible. Just natural common sense defending.
yep, the simple stuff is going from the game. Its all about passing from the back and not defending anymore. Its not cool to have right and left backs that don't run down the field. I could talk about this for 2 days.
Tbh 😂😂we can talk abt tactics all we want but as long as you have a right back playing as a CB in Newcastle's case and then a CDM playing as a CB in man utds case .. we shall see these defensive lapses.. I think we all saw what these 2 teams were all about last season when all their 1st choice players were fit .. they were always soooo organised and compact.. this season has been horrible for them with these injuries to their main teams
So.....much to say about this lol. I don't care about what if this what if that injurie. That's what is called bigger picture. I am calling WHAT IS GOING ON. You can get lost in the world of what if's in football. If our starting 11 is fit the season would be Y and you are not wrong. That's not the way to fit problems.
You can get stuck in the mind of " well when the starting CB are in the problem goes" but in the mean time you lose 10 games. As a good coach you do both and never talk about when players are back. This is for a number of reason's. The first being you just told the other players a couple of things. They are crap being the biggest and they stop working for you. You are telling the whole team it doesn't matter.
Last season doesn't matter (but it does different story) You are only as good as your last game.
We are not talking tactics here at all btw.
I did a video about why Man Utd are done for the next 5 years and I will be right (not fighting for a league) Newcastle are going to yoyo up and down the table. Don't be shocked if they finish top 4 next year then 6th again.
