  • Todays new tool is the Milwaukee Tool cordless fuel 8 1/4" table saw with the new 12.0 battery. After watching the video, you'll see that I had more time than expected setting up the saw out of the box, but once done, its an impressive little unit.
I genuinely appreciate the feedback on last weeks "tool review" video. So with that being said, we are calling it Tool Tuesdays! Sometimes we will do a review, other times, an unboxing. AND TRUST ME THEY WON'T ALL BE MILWAUKEE
Milwaukee Saw: $699.00 with battery goo.gl/FYd5Ea

It's great to see videos like this because you are looking at new tools, and you aren't paid by any one brand to look at them, you give your honest opinion and look at different brands, not just one, which is why I love your channel so much. Another great video!

It’s great! My shed has been completed and it turned out nice looking and sturdy and it is way better than the sheds that many of my neighbors had put up. Of course, I'm pleased with the outcome and this Ryan’s ruclips.net/user/postUgkxGZedDTcDfgD7fG_uU4esfx_EgxzlY2_1 Plans was extremely useful to me as a guide.

This is better than last tool Tuesday. The fact you were honest about having to "setup" the saw to level and square, you should how you did it. Comparing it to another and talking about both the good points and warts. I like it. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the review. I also suffer from cord phobia. And the cordless tools just keep getting better. I haven't cut a cord in many years except for my corded hedge trimmer (snip ,spark, break time..) Thanks again

Sweet saw! I'm a converted DeWalt guy since they came out with their line of 20 volt, but I've owned several corded Milwaukee tools over the years and loved them. I've been considering a job site table saw just for projects around my property where I don't have power run to yet, so this may be a contender. Thanks for the great review Kyle!

Hi Aussie tiler here new to the channel, I'm really interested in your trailer it looks very professional. Is it a custom design or a prefab company built trailer. I think a walkthrough of the trailer or overall talk about organizing tools and productivity might be a good idea, I'm still working through your old videos and you have mentioned site and material preparation a few times. I think a overall explanation could be a good video/series. Many thanks and loving the content so far.

Great review. No sugar coating!! Please continue to tell it how it is. Surprised the saw was that out of alignment. I appears both Dewalt and Milwaukee have room for improvements in their next generations. I was going to purchase the FlexVolt table saw, but the sensitive switch issue turned me off.

I was surprised that it was only 8 1/4”. I have the ridgid 10” and the table extends out a lot, and it’s on a trolley stand and it is portable and easy to use. There are certain tools I use that I just don’t want small and cheaply made. Table saw is one for sure.

I have been trying to figure out why my blade was out of square for so long and you finally may have just solved my problem accidentally by showing those two screws in the back I didn't even think about looking there I thought maybe my driving knife was pushing the saw blade out too far from where you have that little screw that releases it to the quick release or whatever. And also you should have made mention of the fact that it takes only 14 hand turns to raise the blade all the way to the top because that has to be by far one of the best features of it one of my favorite things anyways. I got this all because I have an extensive amount of Milwaukee tools and I needed a table saw but I don't cut enough that I would ever use a big saw for that so I thought why not get a cordless table saw myself since I primarily work out of my carport and seeing as how I have two 12.0 batteries. Good review though and I'm so glad I came across this video cuz I think you may have actually help me get my saw squared up again. Oh and as far as the devil goes I noticed that mind will not sit at zero either and I was just about to start tinkering with it and I think you got that one figured out for me too

I know this is a older video on this milwaukee cordless table saw. This table saw also capable of using a dado blade. Would have like to see how much run time you get with dado.
I know not everyone will use it but it's a feature that is on this table saw and should be reviewed.

Nicely done review! Was thinking about something: have you considered mounting solar panel(s) on the top of your work trailer? You could add a couple of car batteries and run the whole thing off of sunlight, when it's available. The best part, to me, would be recharging your many lithium-ion batteries for your cordless EVERYTHING!!!
Was very convincing of the performance of the saw watching you fly through that 303 LF of plywood!

Great video. Tarrantino used this filming technique to heat effect. 😊. 2 questions. 1. Are the width of your buildings, pre-determined by the length of trusses available..ie. they come in standard lengths, or do you get these made to order? 2. Whenever you say, 'We are going for lunch' ...where on earth do you go, as this job location appears in the middle of nowhere...or maybe there's a catering van on site? Baffling. 😊

“METAL GEARS “ I work in industrial maintenance, it’s much better to replace the gear rather than the rack. Depending on the material , you might get more ware form this combination. I once decided that I would replace a worn UHMW gear with a steel gear ,so both gears would be steel. It didn’t last a fraction of the time and wore both gears instead of just the UHMW gear. Another bonus is that it wouldn’t need to be lubricated and therefore not attract saw dust. just my opinion.

Kyle just bought the same tablesaw. It’s really nice. I had a question I noticed that the throatplate has a lot of play to it. In fact you can lift it up a bit when it is in the locked position. Was it the same way on yours and if so how did you resolve it?

Would like to see this on a job site working. Agree about that gear being plastic vs metal, won't last long at all. I did notice the riving knife laying on the floor, any reason not stated as to why there was no riving knife in use while cutting that ply? As for the length of time it took you to "set up" the saw, it's this way with all brands, have yet to see any "table saw", "miter saw" that didn't need to have some time taken to fully set it up proper. My Makita miter was close but still needed a tweak, my Bosch, same way, just some minor tweaking. I'm interested in your thoughts on Rigid, lifetime warranty, etc. Excellent tool choice as well.

Good man Kyle. Very honest review. The Milwaukee & the Dewalt both have there pros and cons. But I think with people, it boils down to $$$$. Here in Ireland, the Milwaukee is running in at just over €1200 & the Dewalt at around €550. From doing my research, im going to get the Dewalt. If I was a pro, like yourself & I cud claim the cash back from taxes & shit, I'd buy the Milwaukee.

Is there a way to put the saw in pairing mode, or should it just pop up on the app? I go to add item, and nothing shows up. It just sits and spins and never finds the saw. i liked the comparison between brands, alot of reviewers wont do that as it makes the companies not want to sponsor them as their just looking for tool praises not comparisons/reviews, whats you thoughts on the fence system on the two, if they both have equal and sufficient power then the next important thing on a table saw imo is a reliable easy fence

Plastic rip fence gear is a deal killer. I’ve got several dewalt corded table Saws. Dewalt fence is the best job site grade fence money can buy. Ripped miles through then be it foam, sheet goods, or dimensional lumber. You can’t kill them.

Only real complaint I've heard on the DeWalt saw is the stop/start button issue you mentioned. I was holding out for the Milwaukee since I already have their 10" miter saw, but after reading Krugerconstructions critiques and seeing this (I didn't realize the DeWalt had a vacuum port on the blade guard)... I'm just going to deal with the power cord.
Those plastic pinion gears on the fence.. I don't even know what to say. If you are the only person that ever uses the saw, and you baby it its entire life, they *might* last a long time. However, if this saw is on a jobsite and you along with 2-3-4-19 other people are operating it, I would be surprised if they lasted a year.

    • @TechieTard

Does this mean you'll finally be beveling your fascia board to match the roof pitch? 😁 Great video!

Sounds to like you need a dust collection system for your shop.

Lock off your camera settings. Things like auto white balance will change between cuts a lot when the scenery changes such as at 2:30. Same with exposure.

I don't see myself plugging in 2 vacuum hoses at a job site, maybe just one if it is a cordless vacuum.

Actually I didn't just replace the blade real quick I found it to be very good even though I had other blades ready to pop in at a moments notice

Totally off subject, how do like the diamondback tool belts over the occidental leathers? I have always worn Occidentals. Just curious, thanks for the great content, can’t go a day without watching :)

That is my one issue with cordless tools, they all have their own non interchangeable battery and I end up being the slave to the battery. Give me a cord anyday, even if it means I need a generator. Just my 2 cents.

Ryobi did that many years ago, ahead of all the other brands. Still not a fan of Ryobi but, I know many who like them.
