- I had high hope for this machine to be able to take 8GB of RAM, but I guess I was expecting too much in this price bracket. I'll still recommend it for the basics at the $199.99 price tag.

Thank you for opening and showing the internals of the laptop. Like others here, I was also hoping to upgrade the ram. A shame, because the color of this laptop is so lovely!

I have an M1 MacBook Pro for my daily, am on the waiting list for a Steam Deck for gaming...and now I'm looking for something super cheap that runs windows for some very basic needs. I'm super tempted to pick one of these things up for $200...I'm loving the green they come in lol
I bought this laptop it’s not bad I’m able to run DayZ and DayZ editor on low not the best I wanted to upgrade the ram also but it’s not bad for 200dls it can multitask well able to stream DayZ editor and run discord at the same time
also it runs simple games just fine, i can play minecraft java at 40 to 50 fps, league is around 100fps, etc etc. i also edit on it and it does the job just fine. really good deal imo
Minecraft on low graphics runs on 100 to 120 fps
Next time we will see you make a video on swapping out the motherboard for one with an upgrade slot or more ram onboard 😎😎👍🏽
i just bought this laptop as well, and its interesting cause it says 1 outta 2 slots in task manager for the ram.

I had this laptop for a few weeks and today it started completely freezing up every time i did anything. It also started getting uncomfortably warm. I wouldn't recommend this.
te consulto sabes si es wifi dual band? si tiene la banda 5.8? porque mi hermana tiene una gateway con pentium nueva tambien pero solo es 2.4 no reconoce la5.8 gracias
Ram maybe on the other side of the board I've seen plenty of laptops where memory is under the keyboard.
Can you at least stream using one or streamlabs on it

Gta 5, valorant, Apex Legends, R6S aren't going to work on this CPU/IGPU it's just not powerful enough.
Now an ACTUAL cpu (core type) will work but they have to have a higher BASE CLOCK (over2.0 ghz)
also you're going to NEED more than 4gb of ram...... JUST FOR WINDOWS!!! (seriously)
I recommend getting a used (pre-owned, or renewed) laptop with the following.....
1. Windows 1(pro or home, doesn't matter)
2. 6/8/12/16GB of ram (for smooth use)
3 128gb or 256gb (or more) of SSD STORAGE (NO HDD)
once you got that....
