Farmers work extremely hard to produce to feed the world. The middle men who don't know anything about agriculture are the big profiters, that's why food prices in Guyana is similar to the cost of Nations across this world who depend on importation of natural foods. Black Bush is the food basket of Guyana from the beginning. Why would agri products in the local markets in Guyana cost so much like in North America?
Thanks for sharing the Berbice videos. The food looks delicious. From the sigan baggie to the duck and fowl curries. You twist your mouth to the baggie, but you have to acquire its taste. And yes, people do cook with tomato paste. That's why the curry is not green. Like you said, everyone cooked differently and your friend family cooked their way. How did Bunny find the food?
