I mentioned Calcharo in the last survey, asking for his story quest. He looks so cool, what we know of him is so cool. He was the unit I picked with the free ticket. I really want character story quests with all the starter units, 4 and 5 stars.
Lil neat thing, if you go near the bridge in the town where the moon festival is held you can actually meet danjin and chat with her. So they haven't completely forgotten, im sure they're cooking.
I totally agree. I am the type of person, who wants to see the characters in action, telling their stories through cutscenes, showing who they are, what they do and how they act. If I get interested in a character after that, I go and read their archives.
For the first point, I think all of the character appearing in that one cutscene has something in common: They're famous in Jinzhou. Yuanwu is famous for his boxing gym (there's an NPC near his gym talking about him), Verina is famous in the Pioneer Association, Taoqi is the head of the Border Defense. I don't see anything wrong; it's not incohesive or anything.
Calcharo so far has only dealt with Jiyan, and he's from New Federation, that's why we haven't seen or heard much about him. Too bad we don't see Danjin in that cutscene.
I get that maybe you want other characters to get more spotlight, but other than that, if players _want_ to know more about the resonators, then they could read the stories and listen to their voicelines.
I'm on the side of letting Kuro write their stories; I'd rather have a character in the right time and the right place, rather than letting them appear here and there with little to no clear reason.
Yes, well said, I see no point in just making a random 'Companion Quest' for a character who, at the moment, bears no relevance to the main story, when we finally get to the New Federation region, then yes, that is the time to do a companion quest about Calcharo, also I believe that Verina is originally from the New Federation? I am not certain, but I am sure it was mention by an NPC, so again, do a companion quest, when we get there. I am wondering if maybe in the 1.4 update, we will get am Aalto companion story, I think the problem is that they are 4-star characters, and historically Gacha's only do Companion Story/Quests for the 5-stars. But again, I might be wrong. As for Calcharo being one of the most powerful characters in the game, sorry Abrams, not anymore, Xiangli Yao and Yinlin kind of made him irrelevant sadly, but hopefully Kuro may rework him and make him powerful again. I found that defensively he was quite weak, and lost a lot of HP easily and quickly, more so than the other Main DPS characters and he was not the most exciting character to play, to be honest, sorry, that is just my personal opinion, I know he does have a lot of fans in the game, and many are main Calcharo players. I am sure that his Ghost Hounds will play a part in the story later and he will become relevant to the main story, but I am in favour of letting Kuro cook on these and bring them to the game when its relevant.

Problem is when will that be? We saw some of them in the main story already like Yuanwu and its almost 3 patches in and we still have nothing with him.
Why put him in the main story at that point then? He was not necesary for act 5, we genuinely had no reason he needed to be there specifically.
They could have kept him out of the story untill such a time his story was released or available instead of shoehorning him into a apearance where he does nothing and has no interactions with us after.
They could then say he was out of town when the attack happened and thus could not help.
@@FallenPhoenix-ml5mn When will Kuro make other companion stories? Unfortunately I'm no employee of Kuro, so I can't answer that. I'm willing to play the waiting game when it comes to story content.
For Act 5, the way I see it, it's like the uniting of different communities in Jinzhou to protect their homes. Taoqi from the government, Lingyang from the Liondance Troupe, Verina from the Pioneer Association, Chixia from Jinzhou Patroller, Yangyang from Midnight Rangers, Rover and Jianxin as travelers from afar, and finally Yuanwu as the "Neighborhood Protector" (Resonance Chain 5), hence it doesn't make sense for Yuanwu to be "out of town" when this attack happened. Yeah sure, Yuanwu has super badass lore, but also he likes to keep a low profile and keep himself around the community.
I do agree it is quite unfortunate that he gets little spotlight in the main story. But, as Kuro said, while we go to the Black Shores for answers, there are new events unfolding in Jinzhou. Let's wait and see what those events are, and hopefully other characters can get a spotlight.

From what Kuro games has shown in their 1.3 trailer, it looks like they will be adding the companion quests when the character's have a larger role in the main quest, I.e. Encore as she's a black shores member.
So sadly, we'll just have to wait :(
Not for 4 star probably as since the beginning how they were introduced or given some background was through the NPC's only (or even the new ones), in short the 4star in WuWa is relegated to being not really important char. hence no companion quest (simple non-voiced side quest probably) , they will just appear in certain part of main story quest or companion story, depending what's the story is all about ex. if the quest is about some relic and stuff Youho will definitely appear, (the Trio aka Yangyang,Chixia & Baizhii are like mascot,narrators etc)
While for standard 5 stars they will definitely have their companion quest eventually, ex. Calcharo might get his companion quest within 2.XX vers and that's also probably we will encounter Danjin since the char. trailer she got, she's always traveling.
If new federation region is released possibly calcharo companion quest will be release
It's so nice to know that i'm not alone in this. Absolutely agree. I think every character must have their own story quest.
They didn't forget some of them, CN deleted their stories by asking for too many changes
im quite confident that they will have their own quests, encores to me is proof of that. Doesnt make sense that kuro would neglect all the rest of the resonators. I assume like someone else said when they become more relevant to the main story their companion quests will be there. Since encore is part of the black shores it makes sense they did hers. I would be most excited for calcharos since hes so cool and mysterious. In pgr, they have stories for every character.
Hopefully he'll get his story whenever the region that he's from get introduced

As far as I've heard, Kuro will add companion stories for the standard characters when they become relevant to the story.
and I fking hope they give us Calcharo leap when his story quest is out🗿
Calcharo had a cameo during the festival, so I'd like to think he'll play a bigger part in the story later on.
Of course, I definitely want a Danjin story quest. Maybe she's a Yandere?
@@lunaticyoshi1 I feel like she's more of a Batman archetype character. She used to be a Yandere, but I heard Kuro didn't write her mental aspect pretty well, hence it was scrapped

Yeah, you're probably right. I think it would be funny if she had an unhealthy fascination with one of the characters, though. For instance, Calcharo had to skip town cause Danjin kept stalking him and driving away any females that got close to him.
Sort of like Yuno from Mirai Nikki.
@@lunaticyoshi1 That's 100% never happening unless the character that Danjin is interested in is Rover. Waifus aren't allowed to look at other men in gacha games since players will revolt.
imagine if cbt1 story was what we're playing for current version. hopefully they integrate thode parts in the game still. character releases and companion stories mostly tied up for the version theyre releasing which is nice. so lets wait for kuro to cook up those char story in due time 💓🔥
I think most people feel this. Hard. It really does suck he's just absent in all places... BUT I think we'll see him pop in before 2.0. Also too like people did their videos on his gameplay on release, and since then nobody talks about him... At least not well enough. There was only 1 person recently where he listed off pretty good solutions on making Calcharo better because of how everyone was droppin him for Xiangli Yao. Was pretty in depth too compared to what other people have said.

I feel like calchoros story is getting saved for later because he probably isn't from jinzhou so he might get his later. Also i don't think there gonna make companion quest for 4 stars

We haven’t even gotten to his story location yet. Same reason you see nothing about Danjin. They belong to the 2.0 area.
