I grinned like an idiot when cookie monster showed up, but as I got older and watched Sesame Street again with my younger brother, Oscar became one of my favorites because he's always such a dick it makes me laugh.

At this point they just tolerate each other, because it's easier than moving on to another relationship with a different gay muppet. Lot's of hatred filled glares across the room, and muttering personal insults under their breath. Everyday they just prey the other will die from a violent accident, just to end the paralyzing monotony that has infected their sad existence.The only solace they can still hope for is the sweet warm embrace of death.

I remember watching a lot of public television when younger. Of course before cable was mainstream. We also played outside a lot before then too.
I still have my Romper Room ring in my jewelry box. Electric Company was cool. I just watched the second Mr. Rogers film on PBS & laughed & cried through the whole thing. He was so special!
