@@retsof4916 Punk shows used to be $3 to $10... THEN, the 'industry' took over. I have a good job so can pay $80 to see a band, but realize only a small fraction of that money goes to the band.
I was at this show.... absolutely fantastic... I think i was sitting right in front of where the camera was.. and that my big fat head can be seen periodically.. I was in the second row behind the sound board
I saw the Cincy show and they crushed it! I’ve followed them for a long time, they never disappoint. Dealing with my own serious health issues I could relate to Mike’s sort of reflective approach. Felt better that night than I had in a long time. Thanks for posting this!
I am really sorry to hear you’re going through some serious health issues. The brain is a magnificent organ and music does make an impact on a persons health….sometimes good and sometimes bad. I am glad it made a difference that night in Cincy. Thanks for checking out my channel and Social D.
@@skullfracture22 my support system is amazing and I’ll be fine! Took my wife, it was her first punk show. She said-I can see why you dig this. The crowd was friendly, people were cool and the music was great. At 58 I’m still naive enough to believe rock n roll can save the world.
When I was a little kid, I met a punk rocker guy and went over to his house. His bedroom walls were covered with if I remember correctly black garbage bags for a dark that was easier than painting I guess. I was about 12 punk rock guy had a mohawk and he was cool. All I know is I left his house with a mommy’s little monster cassette that I listened to soooooooooo many times. And even today I have mommy’s little monster in my RUclips saved albums and listen to it all the time. Mike Ness put together something incredible. And what is even more incredible is that he is still doing it today.. God help and bless and protect Mike Ness and everyone he loves in Jesus name, AMEN!
Bad, Bad Luck. ❤ Yes! Fav song!! So glad to see he is feeling better. He sounds really good. Saw them recently too. The music always makes me want to dance.❤
kinda suprised they're not playing their most popular song, story of my life. it's similar to nirvana back then when they didn't play teen spirit on purpose
Bad Luck is sort of a weak song to open a show with…so slow and repetitive…so many other kick ass up-tempo songs they have to come out of the gate with…good to see Ness and J2B up there again though! 👏👏
Opened with I was Wrong in Cincinnati. That was a killer and set the tone. Also played Sick Boy. The band was in high gear and played one of the best shows I’d ever seen them play.
In 1982 I rode my bike to see Social D at the Galaxy roller rink. Now I cant afford their shows but still love the band.
What an awesome memory to have…very cool. Thanks for checking out the channel.
Man, where you at? I’ll take you to a show.
Unfortunately punk rock n roll is for the elite now when it used to be for the underdog.
I just paid 60 bucks after fees for a balcony ticket. Id like to think that's pretty affordable

Machine gun blues .
Nothing beats So far away, as an opener, imo
You should be happy they are touring after him beating cancer he could have packed it in.

I fell asleep after 2 minutes
