I own a ev scooty and the problem with range that many don't consider is the heating motor while continuous driving. My scooty's motor heats up after a while and the range reduces considerably, but when I ride it with breaks, for eg, riding it only for few kms to buy groceries and stuff or using it for few kms daily the motor actually delivers the claimed range by the company. So the Tiago can go further than 192kms if you just drive it daily but 20kms for work. The motor can rest or charge at the office as well as at home. It's a good work to home car. Maybe the liquid cooling in the car's battery can do better

Biggest mistake on this video, never compare an EV with any AMTs or it's petrol version..Always choose DCTS, why? The sheer automatic drive an EV offers needed appreciation and consideration. So compare with altroz DCT . Which costs 10 Lakhs and do the maths. You will get Rs 8+ Lakhs of fuel cost savings in 8 years by running just 50 km per day. I have seen People doing maths comparing Nexon EV vs Nexon AMT.. Which is a disaster of comparison. They have to take Seltos Torque converter or DCT Compare Performance vs Performance ...Driving an EV is beyond the feel and imagination of a Normal petrol AMT car. To be frank DCT is nothing in front of the extreme relaxed and butter smooth driving offered by an EV... If you havent driven a good EV car, you will feel my comment as "crazy" , drive once you will know.. so people with 50 to 200 km avg daily drive and, once or twice long drive per month can go for Tiago EV. Two men, each of them bought one tiago EV and altroz DCT, and ran 50 km per day, person with Tiago EV saved Rs 8+ lakhs in fuel savings now the twist part Both reached after 8 years, the petrol price will be even more higher, and by that time the era of EVs will be in great pace. So, no one need a used petrol car to drive with expensive fuel, But, Tiago EV max will get battery packs at a good price and it will run again, and it still get market value. That means, whatever you get when selling it, is extra ( I have not added the low maintenance cost of EVs to the chart) ....Tiago EV comes with advanced liquid battery cooling, which enhances the battery life. Nexon EVs completed 1 lakh km without issues. Two - Three wheeler EVs dnt have cooling system for batteries so then end up in 3 years. ============================= .Even if you stuck in a traffic for 1 hour, it takes just 2% of charge to run the AC. Imagine there is no electricity, petrol and diesel in the country, you can still run the EV using the home solar !! ================================== So, people with avg 50 to 200 km per day can take Tiago EV. once or twice long drive per month can be managed. In this driving profile the usage of fast charging station is too low, they can rely on home charging.. But people with excess long run in most days, avoid EVs..

It will take approx 6 years to reach break even point if our daily running is 30 km . moreover the range anxiety will always be there and its better to sell vechicle after 60000 km . So petrol cars are still a better option untill this range issue is not solved

Just checked the latest on road price of these vehicles in Mumbai and the actual difference is now below 2 lakh (without considering the discounts they have right now). Thus from above calculation the recovery should be done within 35-40K kms, which seems to be good.
Will range improve if the usage is not continuous? That is 60 km per day vs 200 km in a single day - considering heating / other factors. Also the car might have been charged using a 7.2 Kw charger , instead of a 3.3 Kw charger - will the range improve. Have seen some users report improvement. The difference in price for XTA vs XT LR is 2.5 L only (Most states are not charging Road Tax on EVs.) For the additional 2.5 L , we get noise free super smooth gearless jerk free automatic drive forever + cost recovery in

Namaskar v3 cars, please give a review on suspension tune condition as long range battery pack increase the weight of cars as all others aspects handling steering etc needed to be tuned, tata motors should advertise about same.
Provide the cost of charging EV car from which charging point at GOA with how much amount spent on full charge. Route map of test should be explained in start of video for more clarity of easy results calculation for EV consider or not.
Most detailed information then others.. Very good job.. But still this flowing points should have been mentioned: Battery chemistry..?? Battery type, blade or prismatic or cylindrical..?? Battery cooling system, air cooled or liquid cooled..?? Dose this car has battery heater.?? When we drive in below temperature area battery should get heated to get better battery life..

Hello there I am vivek living I Bangalore Looking to but a car in Bangalore can you pls suggest me a good car petrol, petrol an cng, diesel Budget 6 to 7 lakh on road Daily 50 km 2 ppl 70% city 30% high way
You need an automatic bro....Because the damn clutch pedal will kill our mind, body and feelings especially in those traffics.. Handling, Safety, Ride quality in bad roads, descent mileage, low maintenance cost Only two cars available, Punch & Tiago ..Punch costs 8.5 on road and Tiago costs 7.8 on road.. I dnt promote Pappad cars so no Maruti or Hyundai.. Other cars dnt have automatics at this price with the specs I have mentioned..
All said and done but for people whose daily running is almost nothing and use their car for occasional outstation travel or very little city driving a price difference of 3.5 lakhs is too much. Not to forget buying an EV gives you range anxiety on road no matter how much one denies. Last but most important in EV is lack of proper infrastructure in our country to drive and plug anywhere . Untill each and every petrol station has a 3-4 charging stations across the city things will not improve.

So, people with avg 50 to 200 km per day can take Tiago EV. once or twice long drive per month can be managed. In this driving profile the usage of fast charging station is too low, they can rely on home charging..
But people with excess long run in most days, avoid EVs..
@@sanalkumarvg2602 right
@@DrKrishnaThakur I completely agree, while taking atest drive of tiago ev, the experience wss faaaaar better than any AMT let alone DCT engines.
And after break even periods , you have to pay 3-4 lakh again for new battery. Because on an average it takes 8 years to drive around 60 k
It will take approx 6 years to reach break even point if our daily running is 30 km . moreover the range anxiety will always be there and its better to sell vechicle after 60000 km . So petrol cars are still a better option untill this range issue is not solved
They have to take Seltos Torque converter or DCT
Compare Performance vs Performance ...Driving an EV is beyond the feel and imagination of a Normal petrol AMT car.
Two men, each of them bought one tiago EV and altroz DCT, and ran 50 km per day, person with Tiago EV saved Rs 8+ lakhs in fuel savings
now the twist part
Both reached after 8 years, the petrol price will be even more higher, and by that time the era of EVs will be in great pace.

Nice explanation as always. Great work.
Very Professional......appreciative videos
Appreciate the detailed reports 👍
The analysis no one shows so well
Wow this was much needed . How nicely explained. 👌
Amazing analysis 👏
Just checked the latest on road price of these vehicles in Mumbai and the actual difference is now below 2 lakh (without considering the discounts they have right now). Thus from above calculation the recovery should be done within 35-40K kms, which seems to be good.
0.90 paisa per km ev how?
Can you plz make similar video for Nexon EV vs Nexon Petrol?
This is very professional!

Very good information thank you sir
Will range improve if the usage is not continuous? That is 60 km per day vs 200 km in a single day - considering heating / other factors.
Also the car might have been charged using a 7.2 Kw charger , instead of a 3.3 Kw charger - will the range improve. Have seen some users report improvement.
The difference in price for XTA vs XT LR is 2.5 L only (Most states are not charging Road Tax on EVs.)
For the additional 2.5 L , we get noise free super smooth gearless jerk free automatic drive forever + cost recovery in

Excellent, please update as there is a price drop on EV. :)

Please make similar video for Tata Punch petrol and Punch EV
Best explanation 👍
Hi great analysis... thanks for making this video
Best review 👌👌🌺🌺💐
Namaskar v3 cars, please give a review on suspension tune condition as long range battery pack increase the weight of cars as all others aspects handling steering etc needed to be tuned, tata motors should advertise about same.
Normal mode me top speed?
but what will be battery replacement cost?
kindly mentioned it
Are we not getting even 70 percent of the claimed range?
Yes ! 🎉
Provide the cost of charging EV car from which charging point at GOA with how much amount spent on full charge. Route map of test should be explained in start of video for more clarity of easy results calculation for EV consider or not.
Bhai apne AC on me btayi h kya ye range?
Reply to diya karo
Please review punch ev real life range test also
Better to avoid EV as breakeven doesn’t happen so early for majority of customers who drive only in the city ! So buy petrol and drive happily .
Seriously 30km/hr avg speed on highway? I guess if we maintain 70kmph then range will be just 100kms
Most detailed information then others..
Very good job..
But still this flowing points should have been mentioned:
Battery chemistry..??
Battery type, blade or prismatic or cylindrical..??
Battery cooling system, air cooled or liquid cooled..??
Dose this car has battery heater.?? When we drive in below temperature area battery should get heated to get better battery life..

Hello there
I am vivek living I Bangalore
Looking to but a car in Bangalore can you pls suggest me a good car petrol, petrol an cng, diesel
Budget 6 to 7 lakh on road
Daily 50 km
2 ppl
70% city 30% high way
You need an automatic bro....Because the damn clutch pedal will kill our mind, body and feelings especially in those traffics..
Handling, Safety, Ride quality in bad roads, descent mileage, low maintenance cost
Only two cars available, Punch & Tiago ..Punch costs 8.5 on road and Tiago costs 7.8 on road..

Ev has to be much cheaper than ice. Otherwise no one will care.
315 km ka range bol ke 190km 😡🤬🤬🤬 Maine faltu hi phle din booking krwai thi paise deke. Atleast claimed range ka 70% to dena chahiye tha isko
Without ac mil jayegi
AC on thana Ac band tha (192km )
This is a city car....
In one word...EV is a total wastage of money.
Hope Gadkari ji don't ban conventional petrol and diesel cars in near future.
