Last night at the concert I went to, Lindsey said something before she played this song that hit me hard.

My high school offers a guitar class and on my first day as a freshman the guitar teacher asked us all to write down one song that we wanted to share with her. I chose this song. She loved it and asked me if I played violin. Yes, I said but I'm not very good. She convinced me to join orchestra which is something I never would have considered because I'm to self conscious about my playing. But I joined and now I've never been happier, I made my best friends because of orchestra and my playing has improved. Anyways what I'm trying to say is that music connects people in an amazing way and without Lindsey I might never have found that connection.
Update: we just had our winter concert and a concert at a retirement home! It went super well and I can't wait till our next show!

I am so happy that you found your home! When I went to middle school I was in orchestra and met my best friend. Now nearly 15 years later I watched my best friend/sister walk to get her PhD in Chiropractic. We still share a love for violin and Violas as well as classical music. I honestly believe that if it were not for my joining Orchestra I would have never met that friend I now call a sister. I wish all the best for you and your new friends. I hope they remain very dear to your heart like the music you all play in class together!
I find myself repeatedly coming back to this music video because I feel the message is so well portrayed with no words. When you're in a dark place, you CAN find the light. And not only that, but you can share it with others.

This is proof that you don't need words to make good, emotional music.
So is pretty much every song she wrote before this, though this song is on what I would call her most emotional album.
I can tell that her doing dancing with the stars has made her dancing even better
Yeah I noticed great improvement in her dance performances since Mark Ballas her dancing partner on Dancing With The Stars worked closely with her during the 25th season late last year (2017). She has worked with several dance choreographers, including Dancing With The Stars Professional Dancer Derek Hough, in her music video "The Arena" and several other dance choreographers at least before that, who have helped her advance in her dancing techniques. She has progressed her dancing techniques to a point of true elegance in her movements, timing and precision & with so many variations in forms, that I believe she should be classified among dancers with highest levels of professional notoriety.
Her dancing now is just another level!!!
I love that even though the dancing is choreographed it still looks like she's dancing like no one else is watching.

I think the story behind this is to not be selfish and to spread light and love for everyone. Like if you found the right path, don't have it just for yourself, share it with others, they need it as much as you need it.
Also I think it shows that even if the light you found is so small, and you feel like it's nothing, it could have a big influence on others life no matter how big or small it is.
And I felt that at 2:15 she found a light in the darkness. I think it means you can find a light even at the darkest moments in your life so never give up.

Lindsey got a little miffed at me about four years ago, when i said that she were a better dancer than Michael Jackson, i think that she just proved my point. She might be equal with Kate Bush as musical artist showing story and emotion with dance, she might have less unique dance steps than Michael, but all in all - she is now the best.

Agreed. Her dancing's really benefited from her time on DWTS.
She told in an interview that she always wanted to learn dancing and playing violin as a child, but their parents could only afford one thing, and dancing was very expensive, so it become only playing the violin. Now she has of course the money to learn from the best dance teachers of the world. ^^
I remember when Lindsey first started to learn to dance in order to become the dancing violinist. Now? No one would ever know that she hadn't danced her whole life. She is advanced now in dancing! Amazing moves. You are amazing Lindsey! Your dance skills have drastically improved! You are very gifted. Thank you for sharing your art with us.

It's like how in your darkest time, the moment you see a light, you get curious of it and you don't know what to do with, like you've never seen it before. If I could get to Californina safely, I would already have tickets for the show. I saw her 2018 performance here in Seattle and it only made me want MORE!!! Somehow she manages to outdo herself with each performance. No matter how many times she plays a piece..she incorporates a new move..a new flourish that makes each showing ( and I've spent way too much time looking up all her live performances, both in concert & tv appearances) , a New and wonderfully entertaining experience... ( ADD MORE SUPERLATIVES HERE!!!!!) I particularly love this one as its so {outside the box} from her video's so far. In fact had an argument with a friend about whether it was, indeed, lindsey doing the dancing! I won ( of course)..and we settled down to watch it again together and both agree, There is NOTHING you can't do Lindsey!!!
