In regards to the metal bead you do not have the all the way covered up before you paint if so does it not show through I have a hard time completely covering the edges and you mentioned something about that that it shouldn't show through so we can do your final coat the edges shouldn't be covered?
@@NSMConstruction don't post anymore taping videos .. do the world a favor.. because this hurts my eyes to watch .. lmfaoo ur using a plastic pan .. ur putting the mud on sideways then feathering out .. who ever told u that u was good is blind.. who ever pays u to do this is on drugs..
I have a question. Im doing my ceiling and im having trouble doing the last coat. Its the butt joints that are giving me an issue. I can't get the mud to spread as smooth as ive watched you. But my knife is still showing like an 1/8 or 1/16 difference. Please help. Im using 90 min mud so I can try and get a coat of kilz on it
The min I seen the red pan I grabbed my popcorn . That was our biggest joke when we would hire a new guy and he would meet us at the material store in the morning . We would be driving and always say if he gets off his vehicle with a red pan just act like we are not the ones he is waiting for . Anyone who knows tape and bed instantly knows a rookie when you see the red pan
You obviously haven't seen the work of the moron that was in the union that I paid a lot of money to and had to fire because he was such a great talent. This, puts it all in to perspective and no two ways about it, this is an art that takes years to do but for my purposes this is an awesome video. I'm going to finish this job myself and move in to this money pit. Later I can have a professional make it perfect.

Honestly one of the better video series I've seen on mudding/finishing drywall. Thanks for all the explanation!
This is the best mudding video I have watched! I am a very novice DIY-er and this helped me tremendously!
Glad that this was a help! Good luck with your project!
Good stuff. I've been trying to sand after the second coat to eliminate the potholes/valleys.
Out all the videos ive seen this guy is the best this is the first time i did drywall turning out great.
In the corner, in addition to pressure are you angling the blade outwards or inwards?

Good thing he had a Hardhat on. Mudding is a dangerous job haha.
Umm it's a ah umm drywall finishing video ummm and than ummm figure it out.
Yeeeeah, not the best mud work but good for a beginner. I cringe at the fact that he doesn’t clean keep his blade clean AT ALL
Um. Um. Um. But otherwise, thanks for the tips.
Thanks for the video but i can tell drywalling isn’t your strong point
Um...um.....ummmm..umm.ummmm.ummmm
That is terrible finishing - worst feathering and smoothing I've seen yet.
I bet you're a joy to work with

That is bad finishing... he used a bigger knife in his angles than he did on his corner bead smh
Obviously a professional that is threatened by amateurs taking your work. For most of us, this'll be more than good enough.
