I became a kpop fan in 2019 and that is one of the videos that made me a fan. I actually teared up a bit watching it now. I may have become a kpop fan later, but that's the kpop I fell in love with, and it pains me so much that we probably won't be getting this type of music ever again
Yes Suju has been on the scene for like (more than) 18 years and Sorry Sorry just happend to be one of those Songs, that was kinda mandatory to all the Generations that came along afterwards. For Starters you can see that down to the Day where NCT joined that Random Kpop Dance that was the Song that DREW ALL of them...because Senior-Hyung Respect and that. I am very well aware that oure 2020 - 2023, wrong and right, modernized, internetsized, westernized, americanized, europeanized pove wouldn't let make Suju through debut, so I am happily they did all this ish before the Internet of today exist(ed) but that's what it is. I feel like especially in Latin America they've been in many peoples hearts, again, for better or worse. =)
As a Kpop stan since approximately 2005, it feels good to watch this video and know you went through such iconic releases at the moment. Died, ascended and resurrected with this timeless bops ✨🌟
Well someone needs to update the playlist. There’s a lot of iconic songs from 2020-now. That mashup you watched of “2020 can’t stop me” was probably the best depiction of the year…
Fun Fact: In Year 2/3, the support teacher would always show us Just Right MV at the end of the day because it was kid friendly and her daughter liked GOT7 at the time. I never knew before I'd like kpop a few years later 🥺🥺
These where iconic for THE LONG TIME KPOP FANS ❤ its so trippy looking back on all the trends and stuff this is our memories, pretty accurate list for when it was made lol.
Fun time capsule! Though it's always a shock to find a kpop stan who's never listened to Good Boy - this song plus Crooked are my most overplayed GD songs
Thank Lord I joined the Kpop scene in 2011 and got to witness all the iconic shit 🙏🏻 the YG Reign 🙌🏻 BB, 2NE1, GG, SuJu, After School, Kara, T-ARA, Infinite, Beast, Vixx, FT Island, BLOCK B, 2pm, 2am, Jay Park, Leessang, TVXQ (even though they had split), SS501, Lee Hyori, Jewelry, and so many more i can go on and on lol Watching shows like Family Outing, Oh! My School, Running Man, Barefooted Friends, Strong Heart, Infinity Challenge, etc Watching ‘The Heirs’ as my first K-Drama and falling into the K-Drama hole… Such good memories… ❤️
2009-2013 are the golden era of kpop... It's a bit dissapointing that i didn't see Rainbow A Beast Shock, Beautiful Midnight Infinite Be Mine, Paradise, BTD Teen Top Miss Right, Rocking 2PM Again and Again, I'll be There, Heartbeat Mblaq Monalisa, Oh Yeah, This Is War Girls Day Expectation After School First Love U-kiss Neverland, 0330 BAP Warrior 4minute Whats Your Name Lee Hyori Bad Girl, Miss Korea Crayon Pop Bar Bar Bar T-ara Roly Poly Well, i understand tho it's imposible to know all songs and can't put all in one video...
Listening to *f(x)* is essential. Best discography in Kpop. Mother of 4th Gen Kpop. Experimental and Concept Queens of Kpop. Mother of Red Velvet (for concepts and discography) and New Jeans (concepts). New Jeans' creative director Min Hee Jin's brainchild was f(x). The best Kpop album by Billboard in the 2010s is f(x)'s Pink Tape.
List of songs that I cannot believe weren't included in this: Her -Block B Face -NUEST Lies & sober -bigbang perfect man -shinwha I am incredibly offended by their absence because these are ESSENTIAL! I am willing to debate that taeyangs wedding dress also belongs on this list
I’m also kinda upset ‘history’ isn’t mentioned either their “might just die” from 2013/2014?was very iconic with the abs show and the flipping in air landing on push ups that choreo was super iconic also their song “queen” (2017?)was also a hit even though the group itself wasn’t as well known the songs were everywhere esp might just die it’s on every old compilation, Mamamoos um oh ah yea, you’re the best, decalcomania Esp if you remember how it was well known in award shows, also as an anime fan BOAs Every heart from Inuyasha was popular af, masayume chasing in fairytail, Younhas song from Bleach was also popular and of all opening songs these were picked as fan favourites these animes were huge arguably even and sometimes have even surpassed in sales to one piece at one point well Inuyasha was super popular but never became among top 5 of the era but was apart of everyone’s childhood and every heart was played as the Ad image of the anime because it was so popular. Fairytail was neck and neck with bleach and Naruto at one point even outselling the manga by 2014 and among Masayume chasing is always charted at the top favourite openings which came out then and it’s honestly among BoAs most well known songs. I know this is on anime and Japanese charts but when they brought up one piece opening it wasn’t the most well known one piece opening and compared these songs were up there.
there are a lot of MV's that I really miss to see. My suggestion is to make a video like this and people had to see how many songs they knew and see the score in the end, That would be fun
Tbh I feel like a lot of songs are missing but as an old school K-pop person lol I’m pretty impressed it featured older K-pop songs than just concentrating on new stuff lol
there is 2 songs I feel surprised that's not there or I didn't see it!!!! Genie by SNSD and Rokkugo by Super Junior .. I still can't get Hot Summer out of my Head 😳😳
Speaking of 2012 and Big Bang...Fantastic Baby was the first kpop song to reach 100 million views. ik. It seems like such a small thing now lol. But I remember it happening cause I've been listening to kpop since 2009-2010

I love this! Omg.. I am going to have Ring Ding Dong in my head the whole day.... all these songs are great, like someone said, you might not specifically like the group or singer but the songs... bangers. LET'S DANCE EVERYONE!!!
All the "Pick Me" songs with the hundreds of people on stage are part of survival shows where the audience is supposed to pick the members of the groups to debut but there has been tons of scandals about the selection process and cheating that they shut those down and restarted the brand of shows with girls planet and now boys planet

Thank Lord I joined the Kpop scene in 2011 and got to witness all the iconic shit 🙏🏻 the YG Reign 🙌🏻
BB, 2NE1, GG, SuJu, After School, Kara, T-ARA, Infinite, Beast, Vixx, FT Island, BLOCK B, 2pm, 2am, Jay Park, Leessang, TVXQ (even though they had split), SS501, Lee Hyori, Jewelry, and so many more i can go on and on lol
Watching shows like Family Outing, Oh! My School, Running Man, Barefooted Friends, Strong Heart, Infinity Challenge, etc
Watching ‘The Heirs’ as my first K-Drama and falling into the K-Drama hole…
Such good memories… ❤️
1:47 "in the beneninging"
🤣🤣🤣 I was crying cz that's what came to my mind too
@@excelbliss6193 😂😂😂
“one of the best discography in kpop” for t-ara is SO TRUE
Man, you got to do this again. I know it’s long but I know some folks including me have lengthened their playlist ❤
Thanks
For some reason I'm proud that I know all of these songs, what a time to be alive 😂❤
2009-2013 are the golden era of kpop...
It's a bit dissapointing that i didn't see
Rainbow A
Beast Shock, Beautiful Midnight
Infinite Be Mine, Paradise, BTD
Teen Top Miss Right, Rocking
2PM Again and Again, I'll be There, Heartbeat
Mblaq Monalisa, Oh Yeah, This Is War
Girls Day Expectation
After School First Love
U-kiss Neverland, 0330
BAP Warrior
4minute Whats Your Name
Lee Hyori Bad Girl, Miss Korea
Crayon Pop Bar Bar Bar
T-ara Roly Poly
Well, i understand tho it's imposible to know all songs and can't put all in one video...
You didn’t say a lie I loved all of those 😍😍😍
MY CIX. They have one of the best discography in kpop so far.✋❤️
yess i love their music sm
started with produce 101 along with so many other icons, seb really needs to do some reactions to them😭🥰❤️✨🫶
Agreed 1000000000%
The fact that I know all of these songs! 😅
And that I actually was into kpop since Suju, Big Bang & wonder girls debuted, I feel blessed 🙌
Trouble maker is iconic lmao
I'm having flashbacks of SKZ
I love your comment on "dinga" by Mamamoo because that was the summer bop/celebration song for me!
.... I KNOW ALL i feel so old
Listening to *f(x)* is essential.
I’m beyond happy that B.A.P is included ❤️
41:08 "IF YOU DO" IS THE QUEEEEN
List of songs that I cannot believe weren't included in this:
Her -Block B
Face -NUEST
Lies & sober -bigbang
perfect man -shinwha
I am incredibly offended by their absence because these are ESSENTIAL!
Tbh watching you fall into your kpop hole for the last year has been so wonderful. You know so many of these 🥺 I feel like a proud noona 😂
Interesting you say that about Into the New World. That song often gets an emotional reaction out of me too.
I was a K-pop Stan since I was 6 years old and I probably didn’t know that it was K-pop. But I knew these some of these songs!
there are a lot of MV's that I really miss to see. My suggestion is to make a video like this and people had to see how many songs they knew and see the score in the end, That would be fun
Love seeing the respect for Super Junior (they got so many bops it's wild)
what happened with super junior?
@@jazmin_219their transphobic homophobic fatshaming hags who have sexual assualt cases against them 😹😹😹
@@jazmin_219nothing they've just been in the game since forever
@@jazmin_219they are a super problematic group
@@jazmin_219Americans and their obsession with hating older men
When jongho of ATEEZ did the cover of goodbye baby goodbye on MAMA 2019 I was so surprised
Vixx's chained up does it for me everytime🫠
I'm surprised Shangri-La wasn't on the list tho
WONDERLAAAND and pirate king and SAY MY NAME??? ICONIC!!
Tbh I feel like a lot of songs are missing but as an old school K-pop person lol I’m pretty impressed it featured older K-pop songs than just concentrating on new stuff lol
The Korean Government banned actually more songs : SHINee "Ring Ding Dong", iKON "Love Scenario" and now NCT U "Baggy Jeans" (and probably many more)
there is 2 songs I feel surprised that's not there or I didn't see it!!!! Genie by SNSD and Rokkugo by Super Junior ..
I still can't get Hot Summer out of my Head 😳😳
Jay Park with 2pm Iam crying 😢😢❤❤❤love him
"Taemin, ew 😂" LMAO SEB
Idk I got teary eyes at love scenario. It's so nostalgic.
Speaking of 2012 and Big Bang...Fantastic Baby was the first kpop song to reach 100 million views. ik. It seems like such a small thing now lol. But I remember it happening cause I've been listening to kpop since 2009-2010
NO BC I USED TO HEAR SOLO ALL THE TIME IN LIKE RESTAURANTS AND THEN I FIND OUT WHEN IT'S A KPOP SONG YEARS LATER WHEN I STARTED REALLY LISTENING TO KPOP MUSIC, I LITERALLY HAD NO IDEA
“I will not be judged by a wiener dog” THAT SHIT TOOK ME OOOUUUUUTTTTT 😭
the way i was waiting the whole video for DNA by bts to start playing bc that song IS SO ICONIC FOR A NUMBER OF REASONS
2008 and 2009 were when I was first discovering kpop. This reminded me why I loved it and that I have to get back to it.
I'm just glad that there is one of their song in there.
I WASNT READY FOR THE “Taemin Eww” IM DYING AT 4 am
that "trust me x1 will be the future" hurt my soul
way back home is my ultimate tour song
I’m so glad way back home is here I literally love that song‼️
NOT PUTTING RHYTHM TA IS A CRIME.
11:50 Brooo what you know about wrong number 😂😂😂👌👌👌 “so don’t call me no moree” still a fav thats on repeat
Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiir, you need to get into more Shinee, those boys are so musically talented it's fucking ridiculous. I hear you singing along, having natural musical talent, ain't no way you don't love Shinee.
Also KDA, the League of legends group, very good actually.
and Red velvet mhmhmhmh pls, harmonies, drown me in them, all these groups have lots.
*SM groups and solists: H.O.T, TVXQ, SUPER JUNIOR, GIRLS GENERATION, 5HINee, FX, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT/U, 127, DREAM and aespa, BoA, Taeyeon and Taemin.*
As a person who started with kpop in 2015,proud to say i learned these songs in a crucial time to kpop.
Also i am looking for one group's song in particular. If its not here, then they missed one of the most iconic songs of 2015
I am in Kpop since 2009 ❤
2007. :D
I am an old kpop stan and I want to put ALL of these songs in a playlist
Please listen to troublemaker fully it’s such an amazing song 😭🙏🏽
I love this! Omg.. I am going to have Ring Ding Dong in my head the whole day.... all these songs are great, like someone said, you might not specifically like the group or singer but the songs... bangers. LET'S DANCE EVERYONE!!!
Have you never heard good boy?!? You have to hear it! This is a must-have song!
The fact that I know all these songs is crazy
All the "Pick Me" songs with the hundreds of people on stage are part of survival shows where the audience is supposed to pick the members of the groups to debut but there has been tons of scandals about the selection process and cheating that they shut those down and restarted the brand of shows with girls planet and now boys planet
NO PLS I DIED WHEN HE SAID ''TAEMIN EW.'' NO PLS STAWPPPP HHAHAAHHAHAH 12:10
5:18 well song be hitting and them being a$$ has nothing to do with it we just be vibing 😂
Fire should be on the list
I feel ooooooold..I know every song of this, it almost felt like a try not to sing challenge
Next level by aespa is iconic too ❤ black mamba was an insane debut
6:23 I also remember suga voice 😂😂😂 its my first love story 😂😂😂

OH MY GOD I COULD KISS WHOEVER MADE THIS VIDEO CAUSE INCLUDING MAMACITA IS SUCH A RARE OCCURENCE
how can you stan SKZ and not know Troublemaker when Hyunjin and Lee Know danced to it ? 😭
THe only group that was missing is a single song of Dream catcher just to show kpop variety and cause FUUUCK they are good,
I've been into kpop since 2009, I recognise about 80-90% of these songs, but I feel they missed some good ones..
26:37 I WAS NOT EXPECTING THIS BOP AT ALL😭😭😭😭
Now this video represents Kpop fans back than, I started listening to Kpop when I turn 13 now im 18 😢
