The intro to Nails (both live and on the album), Killer (on her new album), and a number of live performances she's done (particularly "Miami You've Got Style" and quite a few of the songs that she did during her Gayest Show You've Ever Seen in NYC) prove that Alaska has a very lovely voice. She's also been in a few musicals with Peaches Christ, and did Rocky Horror too. The singing voice she often does live is because she's also a campy comedy queen. YMIT is an electronic dance track, not a piano ballad, so of course she's not truly singing. (I love Jinkx and think she very much deserved her win, but Lasky can indeed sing.)
I really love the blue shade on Sharon! She struggled with the words, but looked lovely! Jinxx could have done it solo, but didn't upstage her, and that's just classy.
