One thing that upset me about the previous stream was that most everyone was complaining about it not being Hazbin material and the fact that Ed wasn't there. I felt so bad for Tracy. Imagine coming to a live, trying to explain a wonderful new project for a webcomic that is beautifully drawn with an amazing story and plot, only to have people drown out her appearance and creativity with complaints about this live not being about Hazbin Hotel and about Ed not being there. I am such a big fan of Tracy's work, and I've been reading Lackadaisy since the beginning. The moment I saw Rocky, I clicked the video so fast! Now with this live, the chat was being so selfish. They weren't putting anyones personal needs before their own selfish desires to keep it going. I'm so sorry to the Hunicast and company for the fans in the chat and their behavior. I'm so sorry that they were so inconsiderate of the creators and actors feelings. I love anything you guys put out and I hope that you all are okay during this scary time.
Sad to see the fanbase for Hazbin, an animation I love, slowly kill itself because of the fanbase. Just like Undertale. Hopefully things slow down, I love HH as much as anyone, but for the love of god. Let them do their own thing. Once literally any property reaches a fanbase of a certain size, the entitlement, the swinging dick behavior, the egotism and the selfishness all float to the top with the loudest batch of assholes. Fan culture has yet to seriously wrestle with this and figure out a way to deal with it, so basically it’s just an ever repeating pattern of toxicity.

1:05:39 Yo as a South African I'm gonna say this now. That Trevor Noah's accent isn't that thick. But in South Africa, each race has like a different accent. So you get the Afrikaners(Afrikaans people. Goeie dag, eet jo groenter kinders) They have like this sorta Dutch(ish) accent and it's really cool. You get the colored accent which is kinda like the Afrikaans accent but varies quite a bit. You get the black accent which actually really varies with the actual people you meet. But generally is based off of what they'r personality is/what language they speak(Zulu, Xhosa etc) And then you get the Indian accent. I know the most of this one because well. I'm Indian. And let me just say. The South African Indian accent is so much more different to the Indian accent (as in from India) Like, come down to Chatsworth and we'll show you how it's done. Usually r's are trilled and we speak INCREDIBLY FAST. NO JOKE. I only know so much about accents and I'm still studying then. But this is just what I've noticed. Lemme know if there are any other South Africa's reading this 🙌
Afrikaners have what my family refer to as a baby accent. It's soft and isn't quite as throaty as a typical Dutch accent. At times, it nearly verges Swedish, French, or English--depending on the person/region. (My mom's side is entirely Dutch, and while none of us are South African, we do know quite a few people who are.)
To be honest I got a bit irritated with them only doing a couple requests (I was excited for this stream so I could get some pleasant laughs), and for them to be talking about everything going on for almost an hour straight, don’t get me wrong it was nice to hear them being cautious, but dang when I heard Ed come in, I could hear and feel he was not even remotely happy. It didn’t help that I was not in a good mood at all. I was unhappy with how sad Ed seemed, barely any requests done, and how short the stream was.

Edd normally does not give a shit, but I can tell that this virus is worrying him. A lot of times win ther is a new emotion like that the brain does not know what to make of it. People often ignore it and you don’t even realize that your mood changed.
I’d say this stream was a bit more disastrous than usual. 1. Ed sounded like he didn’t even want to be there. 2. The chat was very demanding about keeping the stream going. (Stfu, it’s their stream. Not yours.) 3. Chat seemed to be taking some serious things as a joke. (This stream just felt off than all the previous ones.)

Man, Chris seems like such a nice guy, I've never seen Dragon Ball but he seems so friendly that honestly I was relieved to hear his surgery was successful. I'm in Dallas and EVERYTHING is shut down. Even government buildings are shut down. Even the COURTHOUSE is closed. My girlfriend's tags on her car are out of date, but she can't legally get a ticket because even if she gets her car inspected, she can't get her tags updated because the building for that is closed. If you're out for anything other than the bare necessities, you get a thousand dollar fine. Not UP TO a thousand dollar fine. Just straight up thousand dollar fine. And a girl in Dallas got arrested because she was pulled over for speeding, and she said she had corona and threatened to cough on the cops, so she got almost an ENTIRE YEAR in prison for an act of terrorism. Dallas is really bad. The entire city is shut down. I don't know how it is in the south, but all of North Texas is completely shut down. It's terrifying.
I'm in Houston and...yeah we're definitely slacking. I have to take the bus to work every day (warehouses are deemed essential) and there are still people on the street walking around like nothing and looking at me like I'm crazy for wearing a mask and gloves. A bunch of people are having "get togethers" and the church across the street keeps holding service. To be honest we definitely need to enforce the stay-at-home order stronger considering just how many people in my city are infected simply because it's not being taken seriously.

Okay, so here’s the thing. I’m actually a fan of hunicast, and a fan of Hazbin too. When I heard they were going to do another stream, I was very excited, and couldn’t wait to hear some requests and get my mind off of the virus. When they started talking about the virus and wishing people were okay, I was all like “Aww that’s so sweet”! But they just went ON AND ON AND ON for about an hour. I genuinely started to feel annoyed and a little insulted, because they promised to do requests for us, and they barley got anything done. When the stream ended, I was surprised, because I assumed they would go on a little longer since barley anything was said regarding a request. Yes I get that they are there own people and they are allowed to do whatever they want because it’s their stream, and I don’t want to sound rude, but NOBODY wants to hear about the virus. It’s a depressing thing and we’re trying to stay positive and get our minds OFF of it, and it doesn’t help when I have to listen to this. Not only that, but they kept getting OFF topic throughout the entire thing, when people in the chat were begging for them to do some requests, and I don’t blame them. That’s what they came for isn’t it? Anyway, I’m mainly here because I wanted to say something about Ed’s behavior. As you may know, a lot of people were genuinely worried about him, because he sounded off. He sounded like he didn’t want to be there, and I am one of those people who are worried for him. Throughout the entire thing, he didn’t seem like his usual self. So here’s the HUGE INSULT that I had for this stream, especially since I look up to Ashley: Ed CLEARLY stated that he didn’t want to talk about the virus, and the tone in his voice broke my heart. He genuinely sounds upset, and I think there’s something a little more to what he said. Anyway, the fact that Ashley kept joking about it, saying “Oh Ed is just dead inside like he always is”, disgusted me. Also sometimes Ashley jokes about abuse, which is a topic thats very triggering for me, and lots of others too. Like the first clean up stream Elsie was in? I honestly thought that was one of the best ones, until Ashley said how “Angel’s like a fuckin abusive fuckin husband and a wife beater” I had to turn the stream off. And in a twitch stream, Michael even said that “Oh, there’s not going to be sexual abuse jokes, some people assumed”. If its got to the point where people are assuming that, there must be other people feeling the same?? On that stream, she joked about Mickey Mouse being a wife beater, really?? I love watching Ashley, but not when she just talks about abuse so casually and like its a joke. It got to the point where i dont tune into her twitch streams anymore because im worried i’ll hear her joke about it or it will be brought up. There was even an instance where she joked about hitting Michael all the time. Cliche to say, but if it was gender reversed, people would go absolutely apeshit. And it turned more serious, Michael said “Oh, I would never strike Ashley.” So i dont think Michael finds it funny, and I dont think many other people do either. Oh yeah, and it also resulted in fanart of Ashley smacking Michael across the face. That should be a sign that its gone too far.

Just watched Hazbin for the first time a few days ago and got instantly fkn hooked. Its amazing, the whole concept is fresh and the characters are all badass and funny. I've been watching streams and this one as everyone has said wasn't as upbeat. Shit's getting mentally exhausting, and its getting hard to be 100% everyday. I just want these guys to be happy and continue to do what they love. Its what we have to do right now, focus on our goals, and what we love to do the most.
You all seemed a bit down (especially Ed and Krystal), so I just wanted to say that things will eventually get better. Even though it doesn't feel like it, it will. Until then, don't feel pressured to stay high energy on these streams, just take your time. Your true fans will stick with you through this, I promise. Just take it slow. Its because he didnt talk at all until 10 minutes in and he was asked a question. Hes usually very talkative and egotistical but he was very quiet and chill this stream. Thats why we were worried, but im glad hes fine 💗

One thing that upset me about the previous stream was that most everyone was complaining about it not being Hazbin material and the fact that Ed wasn't there. I felt so bad for Tracy. Imagine coming to a live, trying to explain a wonderful new project for a webcomic that is beautifully drawn with an amazing story and plot, only to have people drown out her appearance and creativity with complaints about this live not being about Hazbin Hotel and about Ed not being there. I am such a big fan of Tracy's work, and I've been reading Lackadaisy since the beginning. The moment I saw Rocky, I clicked the video so fast! Now with this live, the chat was being so selfish. They weren't putting anyones personal needs before their own selfish desires to keep it going. I'm so sorry to the Hunicast and company for the fans in the chat and their behavior. I'm so sorry that they were so inconsiderate of the creators and actors feelings. I love anything you guys put out and I hope that you all are okay during this scary time.
Sad to see the fanbase for Hazbin, an animation I love, slowly kill itself because of the fanbase. Just like Undertale. Hopefully things slow down, I love HH as much as anyone, but for the love of god. Let them do their own thing. In these times doing your own thing can be therapeutic and can take you away from the fucking disaster thats happening around us. Once literally any property reaches a fanbase of a certain size, the entitlement, the swinging dick behavior, the egotism and the selfishness all float to the top with the loudest batch of assholes. Fan culture has yet to seriously wrestle with this and figure out a way to deal with it, so basically it’s just an ever repeating pattern of toxicity.

Yo as a South African I'm gonna say this now. That Trevor Noah's accent isn't that thick. But in South Africa, each race has like a different accent.
So you get the Afrikaners(Afrikaans people. Goeie dag, eet jo groenter kinders) They have like this sorta Dutch(ish) accent and it's really cool.
You get the colored accent which is kinda like the Afrikaans accent but varies quite a bit.
You get the black accent which actually really varies with the actual people you meet. But generally is based off of what they'r personality is/what language they speak(Zulu, Xhosa etc)
And then you get the Indian accent. I know the most of this one because well. I'm Indian. And let me just say. The South African Indian accent is so much more different to the Indian accent (as in from India) Like, come down to Chatsworth and we'll show you how it's done. Usually r's are trilled and we speak INCREDIBLY FAST. NO JOKE.
I only know so much about accents and I'm still studying then. But this is just what I've noticed. Lemme know if there are any other South Africa's reading this 🙌

Afrikaners have what my family refer to as a baby accent. It's soft and isn't quite as throaty as a typical Dutch accent. At times, it nearly verges Swedish, French, or English--depending on the person/region.
(My mom's side is entirely Dutch, and while none of us are South African, we do know quite a few people who are.)

To be honest I got a bit irritated with them only doing a couple requests (I was excited for this stream so I could get some pleasant laughs), and for them to be talking about everything going on for almost an hour straight, don’t get me wrong it was nice to hear them being cautious, but dang when I heard Ed come in, I could hear and feel he was not even remotely happy. It didn’t help that I was not in a good mood at all. I was unhappy with how sad Ed seemed, barely any requests done, and how short the stream was.

Edd normally does not give a shit, but I can tell that this virus is worrying him. A lot of times win ther is a new emotion like that the brain does not know what to make of it. People often ignore it and you don’t even realize that your mood changed.
I’d say this stream was a bit more disastrous than usual.

2. The chat was very demanding about keeping the stream going. (Stfu, it’s their stream. Not yours.)

I'm in Dallas and EVERYTHING is shut down. Even government buildings are shut down. Even the COURTHOUSE is closed. My girlfriend's tags on her car are out of date, but she can't legally get a ticket because even if she gets her car inspected, she can't get her tags updated because the building for that is closed. If you're out for anything other than the bare necessities, you get a thousand dollar fine. Not UP TO a thousand dollar fine. Just straight up thousand dollar fine. And a girl in Dallas got arrested because she was pulled over for speeding, and she said she had corona and threatened to cough on the cops, so she got almost an ENTIRE YEAR in prison for an act of terrorism. Dallas is really bad. The entire city is shut down. I don't know how it is in the south, but all of North Texas is completely shut down. It's terrifying.
I'm in Houston and...yeah we're definitely slacking. I have to take the bus to work every day (warehouses are deemed essential) and there are still people on the street walking around like nothing and looking at me like I'm crazy for wearing a mask and gloves. A bunch of people are having "get togethers" and the church across the street keeps holding service. To be honest we definitely need to enforce the stay-at-home order stronger considering just how many people in my city are infected simply because it's not being taken seriously.

Okay, so here’s the thing. I’m actually a fan of hunicast, and a fan of Hazbin too. When I heard they were going to do another stream, I was very excited, and couldn’t wait to hear some requests and get my mind off of the virus. When they started talking about the virus and wishing people were okay, I was all like “Aww that’s so sweet”! But they just went ON AND ON AND ON for about an hour. I genuinely started to feel annoyed and a little insulted, because they promised to do requests for us, and they barley got anything done. When the stream ended, I was surprised, because I assumed they would go on a little longer since barley anything was said regarding a request. Yes I get that they are there own people and they are allowed to do whatever they want because it’s their stream, and I don’t want to sound rude, but NOBODY wants to hear about the virus. It’s a depressing thing and we’re trying to stay positive and get our minds OFF of it, and it doesn’t help when I have to listen to this. Not only that, but they kept getting OFF topic throughout the entire thing, when people in the chat were begging for them to do some requests, and I don’t blame them. That’s what they came for isn’t it? Anyway, I’m mainly here because I wanted to say something about Ed’s behavior. As you may know, a lot of people were genuinely worried about him, because he sounded off. He sounded like he didn’t want to be there, and I am one of those people who are worried for him. Throughout the entire thing, he didn’t seem like his usual self. So here’s the HUGE INSULT that I had for this stream, especially since I look up to Ashley:
Ed CLEARLY stated that he didn’t want to talk about the virus, and the tone in his voice broke my heart. He genuinely sounds upset, and I think there’s something a little more to what he said. Anyway, the fact that Ashley kept joking about it, saying “Oh Ed is just dead inside like he always is”, disgusted me. She didn’t even ask first if he was actually okay, and if there was something wrong with him, because he sounded so off, but no, she kinda just swept by it. It makes me feel bad for Edward. It feels like as if he’s FORCED to do these streams, and he’s tired of it or something. I know that’s not true, but it just feels that way. This stream just gave me bad vibes, and it made me feel terrible for Edward, these people are supposed to be his FRIENDS and yet something just seems different. I hope the guy’s okay. ❤️

Also sometimes Ashley jokes about abuse, which is a topic thats very triggering for me, and lots of others too. Like the first clean up stream Elsie was in? I honestly thought that was one of the best ones, until Ashley said how “Angel’s like a fuckin abusive fuckin husband and a wife beater” I had to turn the stream off. And in a twitch stream, Michael even said that “Oh, there’s not going to be sexual abuse jokes, some people assumed”. If its got to the point where people are assuming that, there must be other people feeling the same?? On that stream, she joked about Mickey Mouse being a wife beater, really?? I love watching Ashley, but not when she just talks about abuse so casually and like its a joke. It got to the point where i dont tune into her twitch streams anymore because im worried i’ll hear her joke about it or it will be brought up. There was even an instance where she joked about hitting Michael all the time. Cliche to say, but if it was gender reversed, people would go absolutely apeshit. And it turned more serious, Michael said “Oh, I would never strike Ashley.” So i dont think Michael finds it funny, and I dont think many other people do either.
Oh yeah, and it also resulted in fanart of Ashley smacking Michael across the face. That should be a sign that its gone too far.

Just watched Hazbin for the first time a few days ago and got instantly fkn hooked. Its amazing, the whole concept is fresh and the characters are all badass and funny. I've been watching streams and this one as everyone has said wasn't as upbeat. Shit's getting mentally exhausting, and its getting hard to be 100% everyday. I just want these guys to be happy and continue to do what they love. Its what we have to do right now, focus on our goals, and what we love to do the most.
