10:20 the naming Switch 2 is perfect... we know its the upgrade because of the 2, and if you look at the logo, it has 2 joycons thats also looks like the roman numberal II. Just makes sense.
It is genuinely comical that the "analyst" believes that GTA 6 costing $100 would somehow help the industry. As you guys noted, all that money would go directly into Take Two and Rockstar's pockets, not "help the industry". The devil on my shoulder kinda wants to see this happen though, just so companies like Ubisoft, Sony, Microsoft, etc... can attempt to follow suit with standard $100 games and watch their castles crumble when they see that most people won't even entertain $100 for an average game. GTA is the exception, try to make that the rule and we'd see the entire industry crash and burn like the 80s, maybe worse
I highly doubt Swith 2 will release in August at the same time consumers will be spending their money on back to school clothing and items. IF they follow the same pattern as the original Switch ... the full presentation occurred 3 months after the initial trailer ( October - January ). Now we have 3 months between Switch 2 reveal in January and full reveal in April. The OG Switch then released just 6 weeks after the full reveal ... which would put the Switch 2 release in mid-May to early June. An end of the school year release would certainly be preferable to a beginning of the school year release. I also do not think they can wait until holiday season for the release. But ... Nintendo is ALWAYS going to Nintendo !
