Hello, 🤗 thanks for the great tips! I often Dehydrate vegetable scraps to make veggie powder, it can be added to soups, pasta sauce, smoothie, fruit leather etc... Have a great weekend just around the corner!❤
I put the remains of the apples (the middle part with the pips, the peel) in a glass jar, pour water to cover the remains, cover the opening with cheesecloth, put everything in a dark and warm place for about 3 weeks. I get great homemade apple cider vinegar. (Love your vlogs I learn a lot. Thank you.💞)
I’m Korean and the radish greens makes great kimchi! When I was in Spain, I used to collect all the radish greens from a local veggie store since they throw them away too. When it turns to Kimchi, the fibery leaves will become tender. And the radish green kimchi goes really well with spicy cold noodles in summer.
I started watching your videos around 2 months ago( I was just scrolling through random Videos about hair care and came across your video about the same!)It took me only one part of your videos to be obsessed with them,❤❤ My mother and I had started to watch your videos when we used to feel low… She really loves the way of your presentation and says that This is the kind of work I want to do! It’s really heartwarming to see you and your family together. Alexia is a really playful girl and I love how you spend time with her! You are making beautiful memories with your daughter!!! Love from India!❤❤❤❤❤
I make my own vegetable broth from our garden scraps, however, there were so many other uses of food scraps in this video that I didn't know about! I am looking forward to making banana peel bacon and orange vinegar and saving powdered orange zest. Thank you for this lesson on how to make more food from scraps we tend to throw away.
Once again I enjoy a peaceful moment is soothing feels good inside watching your daughter and you sharing this beaitufil moment thank you. Keep bringing ideas like this I really do them part of my family too.
Your videos are always so well made, lots of feelings and memories are coming ahead..your daughter is a bless. She is learning so many things right now for her future..thank you for this inspirational video.I live in Greece and my grandmother and my mother always looked for ways to waste less food, an art that tends to disappear these days..but your relationship with food makes me think that maybe we can preserve the old knowledge..
In each our heart, we all have our own dream about life path to pursue, but depending on our luck and determination, one can pursuit it more or less. You seem like the luckiest one…I’m very happy for you, and I really admire your well planned one! 💝 Thank you for the good videos that I’ve learned a lot from though at this … 71 years young 😅. Wishing your family always in good health (of course as you have the best healthy food) :) and happiness.
You are teaching your children well. It is good to ask the questions about safety to make sure the rules of cooking is understood. The little carrot spoon made me say, "Aw" when I saw it. You put a lot of work into making your food and I love how you went to the garden to get what you needed too. It is amazing.

Loved this! I used to use a lot of my food scraps, but now with the inflation I am not financially able to buy organic anymore and I am not confortable using those scraps that are probably filled with pesticides... It is also one of the major reasons why I am so tired of living in such a small flat (15 square meters...): I do not have a freezer or the space to keep preserves! 😢 But one day I will, and I will go back to your precious videos! Thank you!
Well, if you don’t live in a desert and have a huge forest or park somewhere in the vicinity you could take some greenery and herbs from the forest or parc home and make salads, pesto or even stew out of them. Especially in spring here in Germany there is a huge variety such as wood garlic, goutweed, bittercress, chickweed, field salad etc. that you could work with. That’s at least how I do it. 😄
@@amandaziccatti6195 Well, I live on such a small flat because I live in Paris, one of the biggest and priciest cities in the world, so no huge forest or park nearby...
@@ggguillemette1375 Hi! I live in France also and I work in an organic shop in Strasbourg where we use an app that sell baskets of our ugly/damages fruits and vegetable for 1/4 of the price to limit food waste, I don't know Paris very well so I don't want to assume but maybe that could be an option for you?
you just wash everything before you process it, properly, if you worry about pesticide residue and it can still work. You might just want to consider what you like enough for it to do that step extra consicenciously :*
Good morning Thuy. This is very smart. I love to have veggie broth in the freezer at all times. It is an essential base for flavourful rich meals. I love to eat beet greens steamed fresh from my garden. You can also bake those greens in a flakey crust with eggs and cheese and your preferred seasoning. Have a wonderful weekend ❤
Bonjour Thuy !
Thank you for this insight. I plan to try these examples. Last summer I had so much parsley that I decided to make parsley pesto. Very good. I know it’s not exactly what you are teaching here but I thought I would share this idea. I felt very creative at the time. I do like to juice watermelon rinds. Someone recently shared that their grandmother liked to pickle watermelon rinds.
I never thought to use food scraps. I always just threw them away... thanks for teaching a new way to cook... Love Alexis innocent, such a beautiful Lil girl!!

From the West African kitchen, I've learned to use pumpkin leaves like spinach. You can also dry them to store them.
A family friend from Africa cooked a dish from pumpkin leaves, we use to put it on bread. It was amazingly delicious and I wish we had the recipe ❤
Vietnamese people also eat pumpkin leaves.
