For the scent alone, this might be my favorite of the line with markedly more elegance and class than the other two. I think this is one of the most unjustifiably underrated fragrances out there. It's a great flanker!
Sauvage parfum was my first purchase from the lineup (earlier this year). It was on offer so I gave it a try. I think it’s so smooth. I sampled the EDT, but I prefer this Parfum as it’s more subdued. I think it works best in the cooler seasons, though…imo.
I got a 200 ml bottle as well in June for $200 CDN( about $155 USD) @ a regular retail store. I get a 20% discount for being a Senior. I noticed fragrance prices shot up 5-10% in July. Great review. Cheers from Vancouver.

Everyone complains about the performance but before the pandemic hit I went to macys and doused a tester strip so I could spend a little time with it and 2 1/2 months later I could still smell it on the test strip! The smell finally faded but it seems really nice I have a 200ml bottle on the way I also got from fragrancenet

Great first impression and that's a steal for the 200 ml bottle! I own the EDT, EDP and Parfum, and to my nose the Parfum smells the best. So smooth. Somehow smells much higher quality than the EDT or EDP. The parfum also has ridiculous longevity, it literally stays on my skin 24+ hours even if I take a shower 😅 But the projection is weaker than in EDT or EDP
You nailed it … edp on one hand …. Parfum on the other … the edp projects like mad and hits the nose hard … parfum is deep richer smoother but projects less … parfum lasts longer on the skin I use 3 sprays of parfum round my neck and then a couple of sprays of edp at the back of my neck/lower head Gives that edp scent trail and parfum close scent bubbles 🤷🏻♂️👍🏼🤷🏻♂️
@@Stifmeister1 sometimes I also wear a few sprays of parfum and then later in the day a couple of edp sprays on top to freshen it up after the parfum has played it’s part … the parfum as a kind of base oil on the skin seems to make the edp pop even more so I don’t use as much as just the edp on its own 👍🏼
I’ve tried Sauvage Parfum multiple times, and it’s very good, but still a touch too spicy shower gel-smelling on my skin. I prefer Bleu De Chanel EDP, but I definitely like Sauvage Parfum more than Sauvage EDT.
I got the 3.4 ounce for 100 bucks free shipping 2019 Christmas, I get a sweetness and the citrus 🍊, and vanilla(probably the sweetness) slightly powdery IMO
Got this on a sale late last year (along with Elixir, which is delicious) and wasn't impressed with it at first meeting. It's been sitting in my drawer for a few months now, so I'll give it another shot soon and see if it's macerated a bit. Wouldn't be the first time I've warmed up to a fragrance I was not initially inclined to keep.
Hi Mr TLTG happy that you finally grab your sauvage yes i have smelled Dior sauvage parfum its a more rounded,smoother and deeper version than the EDT,the "metalic" aspect is tone down..i prefer the EDT heavy ambroxan in your face version and heavy projection but this version is Nice 130$ for a 200ml What a bargain.

Killer price for that size I got it for my birthday couple of weeks ago it's cool here in Melbourne so this is killer for this time of year it's an awesome scent imo hope you enjoy this as much as I do
Honestly, I have tried all the 3,EDT,Which I own, EDP, which I tested and finally the Parfum. EDP and Parfum are more sweet, lipsticky and creamy. But don't last long as EDT does.
Imo it's it's a sweet version not really as fresh as the edt performance isn't as good as the edt but not bad just the edt performance is one of the best

Unless you like spraying only 1-2 sprays, like being “that cologne guy”, or like being obnoxious...more subdued fragrances are the way to go 90% of the time.
What an amazing deal man. I’ve got Sauvage EdP in the 100 ml size. It doesn’t work really well with my skin, I prefer Bleu de Chanel EdT in the group of blue heavy-hitters. Maybe in the future I will pull the trigger on the BdC Parfum. The channel is growing fast man, heading 15K. Keep up the good work man. 💪🏻
Alexcarr210 it’s not worth it ! It was the first fragrance of mine to run out , same with those Mugler flankers. I say about 3 sprays, but it sprays so much you have to be gentle on the trigger
You must be the armadillo of the RUclips fragrance reviewers dude. You have had a few reviews where you get performance out of usually under performing fragrances. Either that or I'm made of sponge haha. Out of the 3 parfum is my least favourite. Still give me Prada Luna Rosa carbon any day though. Great content as always my friend 🤘
I think all 3 have their place. The EDT is the sharpest and best in the summer. The EDP is sweeter and spicer with monster projection. Probably the most versatile in the line. The Parfum is better for the evening and winter. Has a more classy feel with a toned down projection and increased longevity. If you love Sauvage worth having all 3. My favourite is the Parfum after going through the line in the correct order of release. Some serious thought has gone into each release. I own a lot of fragrances if I was to only own one scent it would be Sauvage Parfum. I usually recommend the EDP to friends due to the versatility.
Lol, I got you. I just got a nice thick vanilla and a very balsamic base which I do like. I just really prefer the performance and the sillage of the EDP. I don't get the Ambroxan at all in the Parfum, but I get a huge dose of it with the EDP.

Summer dates are tricky because it contradicts the requirements for a date night scent; sweet mysterious intimate. The closest I could find for hot weather dates is for the daytime Mont Blanc Individuel, or Chanel AHS Blanche, for the night time a fresh fruity Aventus batch or Acqua Profumo. Out of these Acqua is the least sweet and most professional but I can see it for a night date if a fruity Aventus is too much.
it smells nice but i feel that it doesnt transcend what sauvage was meant to be when they thought it up- its a pass for now but down the line who knows
Probably the best alternative currently on the market is Missoni Parfum. Other alternatives are Armaf Tag Him and Perry Ellis Pour Homme. All of these are a lot cheaper than BdC. But, as a BdC lover, if you like that fragrance, definitely pull the trigger on the original. To me, it is worth it.

After Pay is the way to go! I would have to wait forever to save up for a lot of these fragrances.

It doesn't contain Ambroxan. I does smell a bit like the EDP, but I don't get Ambroxan or Incense. I definitely prefer the EDP out of all of them.
