Yea same here, you dont just forget that you brought your friend on a night ride. Also it might be a typo but I’m pretty sure “Craig” called the MC by two different names, Jake and then Derek. Good story tho, reminds me of a few different stories where the nice gas station attendant all of a sudden turns into a weirdo only to find out later he was trying to warn the MC of the danger they were in.
I remember Mom using the car cigarette lighter! Dad was almost fanatical about buying new cars every two years. One of my mom's coworkers, seeing her with yet another new car, jokingly asked what was wrong with the old one -- was the ashtray fulll?
OK, the title of this story confuses me. It seems like stopping for the woman was the right thing to do the bad thing to do was getting in the car with Craig.
I did suspect the friend. I thought that it was weird that he was sat in the back seat. Surely two friends driving alone together would both sit in the front
Yea and you don’t forget that you brought your friend on a night drive either 😂. Also it might have been a typo but I’m pretty sure the. “Friend” called the MC by two different names, Jake and then Derek. Just goes to show that if the nice gas station attendant suddenly turns into a weirdo maybe they are trying to tell you that you’re in danger.
Based on the age of the car and the technology, I’m guessing this story is a bit older, maybe mid-2000s when people had cell phones but not necessarily smartphones.
This is definitely one of the better stories I've heard in years! I thought it might be the friend but it did a good job of making me question that thought. Loved the ending
Good story but what irks me is that the main character seems to be in his 20s as well so the paper map and acting like he can't relate to the gas station cashier seemed out of place.
Loved this story. I actually had chills running down my spine. Great twists. The only thing that bugged me was I thought “there’s no way Honda was producing Accords as far back as 1979.” Looked it up. Honda began producing Accords in 1976. Shows how much I know about cars.
I am unsure what the significance of the woman, the people with her, and the old mining town are. But it was a nice touch that he really didn’t forget his friend was in the car but a monster had inserted itself in him memories
Have been going on night drives for many years now. Stress relief..We do alot of off road mud bogging. Street raced my nissan through out the pandemic.
Why didn't they use Google maps on their phones? 🤔 But spooky story, loved the ending- thought it was weird that he forgot about his friend in the car.
I think they're supposed to be millennials, but people have been calling each other "dude" since the 70s, so that's not exactly young people slang, but the rest is in accord with usual millennial phrasing.
The thing I don’t get the most. If they have enough signal to text the gf, couldnt they just use Google/Apple maps? But yeah I can’t tell the age either.
You do realize there was a time without ""google maps"". They also had mobilephones. - And this far I didn't catch any sign that would tell you the year this story is playing in. So yeah. This could be 19XX.
I fucking knew it. You don’t forget someone is in the car bro
Forgot about that lol that's good

Never forgot a person is in back or front seat but heck I sure forget baby wipes when my daughter let out a poop explosion and everyone can see.
ty for spoiler smh

Lmao
I get that Craig was a monster, but did the guy imagine he was his friend?
😂
My parents had a friend who would buy a new car every 2 years. They would say the same thing about his ash tray !!
OK, the title of this story confuses me. It seems like stopping for the woman was the right thing to do the bad thing to do was getting in the car with Craig.
That’s a really nice story. It gives hints about what’s really happening early on, but not too much to spoil the ending!

Do people still go for random late night drives to nowhere with gas prices these days?😅
I was thinking the same thing….like dang bro you got it like that??😂😂
Lmao well in that case, i don’t feel bad for him wrapping his car around a tree, he got it like that 😂
Been WAITING I love listening to these at work perfect timing
Ooh spooky! I love finding new creepypasta channels! You have my sub!
Yay, thank you!
Oh now that's spooky. Great story & narration.
So they had a phone but no google maps
Excellent point!
Based on the age of the car and the technology, I’m guessing this story is a bit older, maybe mid-2000s when people had cell phones but not necessarily smartphones.
I think the story is set in the 2000s based on the age of the car, so it was pretty normal to have a cell phone that wasn’t a smartphone.

I also liked the story, but the age Gap is not explained clearly and the title should be different-if you see a woman by the road, stop🤔
I'm in my early 30s, can read a map, and also find 20somethings off-putting and obnoxious.
The thumbnail looks like he wants to HANG out with me and smoke weed and fill our bellies with DIET soda and play Burnout Revenge for the PS2.
Chills down my spine every time! Love your storytelling. 💞

Dude is gonna have boxes and other junk piled high in every unused seat in his car from now on. That damn demon is gonna have to ride on the hood 😂

Rick and Morty.. remember if you have no bad memories of the person they’re not real..lol
This was surprisingly good
"1993" ow I took psychic damage.

The title tricked me, lol. I expected something completely different.
Great story. 1st video ive seen on your channel. Subscribed!

Great story 😮
This story teaches you to always have Google Maps on your phone lol
Oh Hell NO , very good. 😉 Thx ✌️💜💚💜
Glad you enjoyed it
Very good!
The whole time I couldn't get the song Night Prowler out of my head.
Why didn't they use Google maps on their phones? 🤔
But spooky story, loved the ending- thought it was weird that he forgot about his friend in the car.
Great story man damn... nice end as well 😅👌🏻
My parents had a friend who would buy a cat every 2 years . They would ask the same question about the ash tray 12:40
Are they in Placer county CA? As in Roseville/Rocklin/Loomis up to Lake Tahoe?
My 2002 dodge dakota doesn't have gps.
Are the guys supposed to be older? Since they use a map and all that; they have the vocabulary of a young person lol
My point as well. Aside from the paper map, the narrator is acting like he's in his 20s.
I think they're supposed to be millennials, but people have been calling each other "dude" since the 70s, so that's not exactly young people slang, but the rest is in accord with usual millennial phrasing.

@@LaurenAlmightyy I think they guys are actually Gen X or Xennials and this story might be set in the pre-smartphone era.
Ooooo this was a gooooood oneeeeee
Dawg itsgonna be a bumpy ride if that crowd goes on the road
cant you use google maps on your phone… not many people put it directly on their car screen
So were the ghosts all the monsters victims?
That was my interpretation. It’s a good twist on the classic highway ghost story.
Oohh, creepy!
I'd floor it too if I saw that thing on the thumbnail
YES🎉🎉 Excellent late night story told in the best fashion!!
Moral of the story: Use GPS
Holy shit what a great story! Now i cant sleep. 😂😂😂
That criptid clickbait resembles an eatable sausage rather than something that will scare me
lol this terrified me
The driver's name is jake,then derrick,then jake then derrick,back & forth many,many times with both names.. !!
He has multi personality disorder :)
I don't understand if he had a phone why he didn't use gps.
Not bad! LoL Not bad at all. Kind of reminds me of The Usual Suspects. If you know what I mean? 😁👍
Craig, Daniel Craig
Car i mean
I called it great story Haha
man. that title is poor advice. what if she needs help.
Is this story stolen from snook?
Is that some narrator? I have talked to the author on the reddit about the story though.
@@Dr.Wicked_ltd ah okay then it's just I luv listening to these stories while sleeping and I hve heard this one.. anyway luv ur vids I subbed!!
Lucky Stripes, not strikes.
Lucky strikes are cigarettes. Don’t know what lucky stripes are though
What is a lucky stripes? Lucky Strikes is a cigarette
