In the video you can see robots, they should be people just as each of us and they buy the Iphone 4.
They play with it and share things with their friends.
But then, a big robot comes and makes all the iPhones not work anymore.
The robots are sad, but in the Apple-Store, the new iPhone is available.

Jack H phones get update support for 5+ years. You can use an iPhone for at least 6-7 years and be fine. With an Android you have to update every year to get the latest version of Android, latest security, and latest hardware. *hardware degrades fast on Androids, trust me I’ve owned 3*

Companies (not just Apple at this point) will render an old version of it's creation useless to a new one. People will be forced to buy a new one, which, conveniently, was just released. The worst part is, older versions aren't worse. New phones get tiny improvements, and everyone suddenly assumes the future has arrived. If people truly wanted to make the future at this point, we'd have flying cars, phones that never run out of battery, 4G tablets, hoverboards, and people who wouldn't fall for simple propaganda.

not really. with android you are neither bound to one brand, nor to one OS. granted, there are parts of the APIs available in 6 (and 7) which won't be ported to 4, but you neither expect a windows XP computer to get DirectX 12 support, do you? And, if you don't like it the way it is you can download a custom ROM, or make your own. try doing that with an iDevice.

Apple purposely making bad iPhones for money, example: Fragile glass, thin charger cables, the most obvious one the iPhone 7 no more headphone jack with a $150 for a pair of headphones. Lol did I even mention the Apple Pen? They also recommend older versions of iPhones to upgrade their phone, thus making the phone itself slow and not responding. This video is basically the entire Apple corporation, don't waste your money on fragile devices that's not even worth $800. I personally think that Samsung has one of the best phones. I've been having my S4 for 3.5 years already this thing hasn't disappointed me and it is completely functional. If you disagree you are very foolish, just because a few big celebrities are HIRED for a apple commercial doesn't mean the device is good...

I installed an Android 7.1 ROM on a Galaxy S4. That thing learned how to fly, like it was on Redbull. Android 7.1 is really fast. +DarthLion I can't speak for others, but I've had my Galaxy S4 for almost four years now. Still working just fine. I think I've only ever found one app that was incompatable. My battery does die faster now, but if I wanted to, I could just pop the back off of my phone, and put a new battery in, which is something that Apple doesn't really want customers doing with their phones.

Aqua Purificotta apple stole ideas from different software and changed it to better fit their image. They pretty much just add whatever's popular, instead of fixing their problems. no seriously though why would I care for my iPhone when the next one's coming out in a year. I kept dropping my galaxy s7 and it works normally, my sister drops her iPhone 6s once the screen cracks and the volume doesn't work, she had it for a month.
So is samsung now after what happened. At this rate we're all gonna be using flip phones again.

As a former owner of a few Apple items including iPhone I couldn't agree more. I used my iPhone 5c for a rough year when it just started breaking, lagging and shutting down unexpectedly all the time after a minute of normal usage, all coming from the overlagging software updates that it just couldn't handle anymore. All in all I'll never regret switching back to Android in the end of the day, iPhones are just so overrated and the price is chiefly double their worth.
Though it is your stupidity for updating an old phone, I have an iPad 4 and I'm never updating it beyond iOS 7 because I know it will be slowed down beyond any level of sanity
My Android phone however is greatly improved by software updates because there is no business incentive for Google to make me buy a new phone

If you looked into the IOS software you would see that Apple purposely releases an update that corrupts hard drives and reduces phone battery. Any version of Android is only corrupted by viruses and things you do or download.
The point of the video is not about what brand you buy your phone from suddenly makes your phone bad. It's about how you practically buy the same product over and over again because of new and "amazing" specific software that is on every new or soon to come out phones (consumerism). In reality if it weren't for smart phone companies messing around with your services, updates, and applications in negative, intentional, and sneaky ways, you would've been able to keep your old phone or i phone with out needing to upgrade for some mildly advanced software instead of being able to advance to a phone with improved software and hardware to the current time's most advanced and helpful additives.Every phone brand does this because it's too expensive and slow to do research, planning, advertising, and marketing all at the same time in needs (not really) of more quick clean cash (dirty money mostly). Android users are like "ohhhhh Apple fanboys just got destroyed" but really the same can apply to every product ever not even just phones it's a metaphor not only directed to Apple.
High end hardware? Lol no. iPhone's hardware is pretty shit. Apple has relied onto single/dual core CPU's for the longest time and used only 2 GB of RAM until the iPhone 7. But that doesn't mean the iPhones were shit. The reasons of why they sticked with this was because iOS didn't support multitasking for such a long duration. And since there's no multitasking, there's no point in having multiple cores, or having lots of RAM as iOS simply pauses the app once closed out of the screen. And since iOS was highly optimized for their devices, it runs much smoother than other Android phones. As Android is targeted for thousands of different phones, it's hard to optimize it. Both OS has their pro's and con's.
Place holder name Actually its only Apple. on Samsung, the S4 is 7 generations old but still works. on iPhone, as soon the next gen comes out it no longer works. i had an iPod4 and it stopped working upon release of ipod 5

Jose Granados that really doesn't explain it. If Samsung makes such great phones why do all my friends that have them bitch about the battery and apps crashing all the time? I went from android to iPhone. I did everything from running custom roms and so on. I still found there to be issues after having it for a few months would start to happen. The software is just not good at all. Constantly having to play janitor and clean out caches and apps.

Samsung has shown innovations that Apple wish they came up with. At least in their devices, there is measurable progress and often times worth it to upgrade. You can't say it's not true when even Apple themselves have used Samsung screens in their phones.

Apple builds their devices to become obsolete after a certain amount of time, with hopes that you'll buy the next product. A few years and your iPhone won't be able to run most apps without crashing. This is why I prefer Android.

Maybe but they only upgrade when the new phones are actually a lot better. I kept my old Galaxy S3 for until recently before upgrading, because it still worked and it still did what I needed. When it no longer did those things, I upgraded. Google or Samsung didn't release updates that bricked my phone and forced me to upgrade. I was free to upgrade when I wanted to.

windows nokia phones continue to work even years after they stop making them and continue to receive software updates even though Microsoft isn't working with nokia anymore so nah not every phone just wish the windows store on the phone had a bit more to offer. but then again its a phone if you want to game or have media intake get a computer or a tablet
