Mine too! She was EVERY BIT as talented as she was beautiful! And that effortless, expressive, yet powerful voice was just INCREDIBLE. What a career she's had!!😳😏😁🤩
One of my favorite Amy Grant songs. Reminds me of my high school/college boyfriend. We’ve been broke up for 30 years, but have kept in touch since then, and have got together over the years, whenever we were both single. I’ll never forget him no matter me what!
This was the version that AT40 with Shadoe Stevens played in 1992; the other two countdowns both played the Rhythm Mix. The song would surface on AT40's second incarnation multiple times as a LDD or America's Top Hit, but this version wouldn't pop up there until 2001 (twice in the same month, as it happens - 6/9 and 6/23) - prior to that, they continued using the Rhythm Mix, like its "Casey countdown" predecessor.
Maybe the best way to explain it is...take the original album version and the Rhythm Mix and put them together, and this is the result. The percussion being more prominent matches the album version, but the underlying track (the instrumental underneath the percussion) matches the Rhythm Mix.
This version sounds more echoey and has three distinctive differences from the album version: 1) missing electric guitar between 2:45 and 2:49, later between 4:34 and 4:38 2) additional percussions between 3:07 and 3:24 3) missing “I will remember you” near the end of the song (around 4:46)
Sinto uma nostalgia profunda de afeto familiar… amo.❤
