@Connor junkins if they don't already have one I suspect they'll get a generator, while this won't keep your internet on if your isp goes down in your area it will if the power* goes out.
@Connor junkins Nothing happens, voice control just stops working.
You have to use devices called "Access Points" which use a LAN cable, to extend the range on your property. You should make sure they support MESH, since that would stop the pauses of internet when walking around. Hope that helped.

Leslie is so calming, she should be on a morning talk show. Those car wash type showers are cool but gimmicky, few of my buddies have them in their homes, you use them a few times and then you don't bother and just shower normally. Changing out my toilets is one of my plans this summer, I want taller toilets and heated seats, the other stuff I don't really care about, used the Toto toilets many times, like the car wash showers, kind of gimmicky. LOL

I live in the UK and when I went to Japan it had a smart toilet in the hotel and I would say that it would be the first thing I change about my house, they are soooooo nice having a heated seat on a toilet, before I tried it I didn’t understand why you would bother with it but holy crap now I want one so bad

My school made it to where if we like our 3rd 9 weeks (3rd quarter) of school (and are passing) then we don’t have to do our work. We can if you want to raise your grade, however they can’t lower your grade, or we can keep the 3rd 9 weeks grade for the 4th 9 weeks grade as well. So happy about that. Gives me more time to help around the house.

They only need wifi to control the house externally. I’m sure each device has a local IP. So if they have no internet I’m assuming each thing talk to each other locally without actually using the internet. But if a network switch goes down or an Alexa dies then something might happen

Its interesting to see, that you are so impressed by some things, which are totaly normal here in Germany. E.g. The water storage for toilet in the wall or the blinds from last episode. Our blinds are even also hidden in the wall, and its pretty basic in newer houses.
