sweet little cars those mate. Yeah second hand racks are definitely the way to go if you can find one and in the style you like. Im not sure if i have seen one with wood turn up so i had to make my own. Brackets always seem to be missing too so hopefully this will help people make brackets to fit their car
a place in nz called para rubber, they also come in black. its hard to find feet that arent walking stick feet haha, made a few roof racks and been really happy with these

Super neat job! I was planning on making one for my 4EFTE van that I'm building here in Oz, but I managed to find a S/H one for not much 🤷♂

What size tube and thickness did you use?
Sorry, i dont check youtube very often. I used 19mm, 1.2mm wall 304 stainless.
