    behind the brand was a huge con
    miguel got caught up in it
    i know that he is a part of a new company that does good things for poc, but i would never trust his judgement

    How about this question? What happens to this company during a hard recession?

    • @BehindtheBrand
      @BehindtheBrand  4 года назад +2

      Good question...and I would say that no one can predict the future perfectly but I remember the Great Recession in 2008 very well. It was a time when I didn't want a long-term office contract because the economy was so volatile. I also craved more collaborative spaces and opportunities. If we hit another hard recession I'd say WeWork from a biz model standpoint is positioned win. Their management chops and mass cash investments in real estate globally are another story. For that reason I would not invest when/if they do their IPO. Too risky IMHO.

      @sophocles8761 3 года назад

      @@BehindtheBrand It is fairly standard to link the package to the business ongoing success so the hundreds of millions would be in shares and options - I think the company has been struggling through covid so I don't think they are worth all that now

    Where's the security in these places? Have laptop will travel. Without laptops this company would never have got anywhere. Reminds me of fly by night sales companies who would do interviews in hotel lobbies because they gave them an air legitimacy because they couldn't afford offices.
