- Happy Harbor Holidays everyone! One thing I love is Christmas time, the holidays are an extra special time for me! Unfortunately they come with cold weather, one day I will be able to enjoy the holidays in a warmer climate! but for now I will be wearing my holiday sweaters and being festive in the cold! In this video I decorate my entire sailboat! first I hoist Christmas lights up the mast with my halyard. Then I wrap up my boom in the rest of the lights. After decorating the outside I build a boat Christmas tree around the pole below deck! I also assemble a little tree that I got for only 1 dollar! Being festive and saving money is something that I get excited about lol. I also show you an aerial view of the Christmas lights around the harbor which are very cool! Thank you so much for watching! Merry Christmas. Your decorations look great. Next time, I would tie a messenger line onto your halyard so as not to depend on your light string to bring the halyard back down. You should be okay for now but just a safety thought for ease later.

We had a Newport 30’ on B7 and a Catalina 30 later on C dock at the west basin when my aunt ran the basin. We’ve since sold them and now just walk the island and sometimes the other side. We will probably go to harbor tonight to see the lights. Have fun!!!

Way to go. I appreciate the aerial view of the harbor. As your biggest fans from Idaho, we will be visiting our grandkids for Christmas and plan to drive by to see all the lights. Too cold to sail? 31 degrees right now and I would welcome your weather. Keep posting. You're doing great.

Hey christa sorry skipper..ya boat looks amazingly beautiful now its all lit up, you've done the pirate crew proud with your chrimbo festivities .lovely to see the sea dogs totally chilled out , guess their just waiting to see if santa comes down the forward hatch with some nice doggie treats..flipping freezing here in the UK .I've bailed on vanlife this winter & opted for bricks and mortar hahaha..great bargains in the dollar store..we have one called poundland but my tree is only 3 inches tall..enjoy, be merry & stay happy :)

I’m not a sailor, but had a Boston whaler & lived on the ocean east coast.
Much different, yet virtually identical marine survival techniques & technology.
You being a full time live aboard sailor is as “all in” as one can go, and you do it well and have somewhat of a support system.
I find it inspiring as I get older to see what awaits me if I were to make a change towards the water.
A lot of problem solving mixed with the best the world has to offer.

Takes a getting used to. This thing is always moving. First couple weeks I had a puke bucket. It's not a very big boat, not as big as yours. Half scared to it out. But you did.. is it still working for you? If I found someone as pretty as you. I wouldn't be doing this alone. I hope you don't mind being complimented on being hawt.

okay....just talked to a boat rental company called Get my boat and they want $1000 to take my girlfriend and me to Avalon.on a 1978 30 footer.😝

long story short...im staying on the island for a week July 1st to the 5th and want to have my girlfriend experience what sailing is about ( I've been sailing for years but i'm without a boat at this time). Been watching your videos and you're familiar with this trip.
