Rant about VW Service

A little different video today as I wanted to have a rant about the poor service we are receiving from our Volkswagen dealership and they now have both are cars in for repair grrrr
I'll make a follow up video when we eventually get our cars back

As a parts manager for 25 years, The key thing is to keep the customer informed at all stages to avoid this situation. Unfortunately, not all dealerships are equal. Hopefully it will get sorted soon

Not all dealers are the same but they majority of them couldn’t give a damn, same goes for small repair garages born liars the lot of them. They say they will phone and let you know how things are going but the phone will never ring. We had our van in for MOT last month also asked for a bearing noise to be looked at. Passed the MOT but advised new alternator needed at £600 odd quid which we declined. Decided to investigate ourselves and found the alternator was fine it was the aux belt tensioner which was £48 for the part. They also said the aux belt was very badly cracked and deteriorating which was a lie it was only a few months old. So would I trust a garage/mechanic? Absolutely not, yes there are the odd good ones but the rest are dodgy liars.

VW are shit. So you had bad service but decided to buy another … doh 😩
