Thank you Molly! It's all about consiousness, finding out what exactly it is that triggers Mars. When you were not allowed your anger as a child, the anger sometimes builds up inside and a random remark or gesture is enough to trigger it. We need anger to protect our healthy bounderies. As a child we could not always defend ourselves, but as a grownup we can find healthy ways to protect our sense of self and communicate what we need to feel safe and secure.

My mars in Cancer : I Hurt myself or escaped. Once arguing with my mother I poured boiling water on my hand "to show her" dumb. And I had a physical scar for 10 years. I need this reprogramming
I often turn my anger towards myself also. But my Mars is in Aries, so I’m not quite sure why. I need the reprogramming also. I often throw things, which doesn’t turn out well! Oh well, we’re trying, right?

@@cathsrq I have IBS something awful also and one time when I was younger and living with my boyfriend (ex) he told me that I was just like my mom. Wrong words! I was making the insides of enchiladas in a cast iron pan on the stove (thank goodness it wasn’t hot yet) and I picked up the pan and dumped the food all over his head. He never told me that I was like my mom again! I’m not proud of that. I feel like hurting myself a lot, but I’ve been pretty good about it lately because it really doesn’t feel good, Ha. It’s not funny, but it’s a difficult habit to break. I sometimes wonder if, when we were children, we wished that we could hurt someone else Who is hurting us, but we didn’t dare then, so we had to turn it inward. Because I don’t understand why I would hate myself that much. I’m actually a good person, and I bet you are, too!

I am strongly Libra and not good at standing up to hostile confrontation and tend to run away and feel gutted!. Yesterday I was hurled abuse by my adult daughter and my response was a welcome surprise.... I looked her in the eyes and said forcefully ... ''DON'T talk to your MOTHER like THAT!" She looked shocked and I felt really proud of myself for once.... I have a feeling things will be will be different from now on.🤗❤

Thank you this was very useful Molly. For everyone: I have read Molly's book and these insights are complementary and sure I am going tho digest all these small series and re-read the book. I am a Virgo sun, Mars and Mercury. My Mars conjuncts with my Mercury...sounds very nice, but I have been very impulsive all my life as if my Mars were in Sag (my rising) or similar. Do not know why, but now it is even more clear all the communication related, relationship (not love wise) lessons, fighting against injustices that I have been going through in these last years was very much related to the mars matters. When you have asked us the chakra I have right away felt the Solar Plexus and clearly trying to elevate to my throat chakra. Not easy, as Molly says, not a brief process but I feel after some years, very recently I am starting to succeed- So heads up, we can do it. Thank you Molly!

This is such a timely discussion. I've realized that avoidance is my modus operandi for everything, which is apt for my out-of-bounds Mars in Cancer. But it's not working anymore since I really do need to live in this world WITH appropriate boundaries. My anger was used against me in traumatic ways by the psychopaths surrounding me.

Mars in that Virgo ♍ Stellium trine Saturn. I'm a very determined, consistent reliable worker. Everything has to be right, done well and no slacking on the job. I taught High Timber and Metal. Other teachers commented on the state of the workshops and how well behaved my students were. Mars cj Pluto and trine Saturn takes no shit.

I've been aware of this spiraling of my energy for a couple of years now as part of my shadow and inner-child work. Am now working on spiraling the energy to my Crown Chakra! Mine is exactly at 18.29 of Taurus in my 12th house too! It’s conjunct my North Node. I’ve felt huge shake ups with Uranus hitting it encouraging me to speak up more for myself but also to not get so psychologically triggered by people. It’s been very difficult but I’m so ready for it to spiral up to come out of the shadows! Many blessings to you on your journey with it too! 🌟 💗

Since the fifth house rules romance, creativity, and children, including your inner child, I would think that with your Mars being in libra you probably like to be surrounded by beautiful things and you like to have balance and harmony, especially in your romantic relationships. I feel anger in my sacral Chakra. I get triggered and go off and react without thinking once in a while but I often don't say anything and I walk away and think about how I want to respond. However I'm very sensitive to some criticisms and sometimes I feel hurt and I feel that in my heart and I just want to get away from the person that's criticizing me. I often keep that to myself.
My natal Mars is at 8° in Capricorn in my 8th house (which also contains my Moon, Venus and Mercury)
My natal Mars is in opposition to my North Node which is at 12° Cancer (Retrograde), Mars is also square Jupiter, and Mars is in conjunction my Moon and my Mercury and Mars is trine Uranus, and trine Pluto and my Mars is sextile Chiron. I don't know if it's significant or not but myy mars is also

Well, I have Mars in Aries, which I have found to be a liability. Also it just doesn't seem to fit with the rest of my chart, which kind of confuses me.
My understanding is that this is his home sign and this placement could/should enable good things, such as assertiveness, confidence, achieving goals, etc. I'm not sure I've ever felt that, but as I've gotten older I've definitely felt the aggressive/bad temper side of this placement.
I have Mars in Aries also and I feel like I should be more self-confident, too. I do have a hot temper in the moment, but I’m not good at standing up for myself. Kind of confusing! I guess I’m a little more self-confident as I get older, but not much, Ha. Good luck!

My mars is in exact conjunction to my moon in Gemini 3rd house. As a teen I was ‘the mouth’. So hard not to fly off the handle when someone is messing with me. I have elevated it a lot over the years but now my mom lives with us. She has anxiety and depression and I find it’s all I can do not to throttle her. I feel like I want to rage. Being aware doesn’t always help. Ugh
How about mars in Aries conjunct natal north node in 12th house... anger management and impulsivity have been some of my biggest life lessons, I'm still working on. It seems never ending, even after years of shadow work.

Mars in Capricorn is usually very steady, grounded energy. My late husband had his Mars in Capricorn and he was always in control of himself. I would think in the fourth house it would mean that one of your parents was very stable for you and/or your inner self deep inside is very grounded. That’s my take on it anyway. Hope that’s helpful.

Molly, I am just so confused! I have Mars and Moon conjunct in Aries 12th house. My rising is in Aries 16 degrees so you can see I have a large 12th house. I don’t resonate with Mars in Aries much, low self confidence, passive in most cases. Probably passive aggressive! Lol. Was bullied and verbally abused by my dad as a child. I need a natal reading. My Mars is in Aries also and I’m kind of passive aggressive and I have low self-confidence also. I don’t do well with conflict at all and usually get taken advantage of. So I know how you feel! I think it does have something to do with the way we were treated as a child. And I would think with yours being in the 12th house it’s probably more difficult to express because it’s subconscious. But since your rising sign is Aries, you would think that you would have some confidence coming from that. That is confusing! Astrology is like a 1000 piece puzzle. There’s so much to it. And everything affects everything else. 💕

I was in a relationship eight years ago that transformed me and ignited that fire in my chart. He loved and gave me so much confidence and support. So I know the Aries Mars definitely showed up then.
