    I don't understand how y(0,t)=y(4,t)=0 when y(x,0)=4-l2-xl , from 0

      Ah, it should have been y(x,0)=2-|2-x|. Thanks.
      However, boundary and initial conditions do not have to agree. It just means that the resulting solution has discontinuities.
