I just wanted to remind you how important it is to let the horses walk after they’ve been jumping, cantering, or trotting. It’s not good for them to stop suddenly, so try to make it a habit to cool them down with a nice walk. I know your mom is always reminding you about this, and I can tell she’s just looking out for you and the horses. You’re such a great rider, and with this little extra step, you’ll be even better!

One of your huge talents is that you innately do what they teach people to do with Icelandic ponies... they ride them almost entirely with rider's energy (you say "buzzy bum" to up the energy). When you stop, you relax your body and breathe, which is exactly what the horse does. You get that "jump-off energy" the horse passes your Mom, says "hold my beer" and changes gears. It's amazing to watch you. Happy holidays to all of you, and those you love.

I honestly think, if possible, Harlow would learn so much if she took on Jerry for 2025! Panda showing (coming into his own), Jerry show jumping (an established presence), Cookie becoming backed (completely new). Oh please let this happen!! Harlen and Lola can take on Rolo, Popcorn will always be there for fun riding broncs, Cloudy in a cart also fun. This makes so much sense in my head!!!
i think we might see a showjumper end up being the 6th pony in the white family soon. and i think harlow and jerry would be an amazing pair for 2025 season they would just be amazing to watch going around❤

That's one willful horse!!! Very iteresting video to watch because the rider is clearly very brave despite the riding discomforts. The rider gets more exhausted than the horse (I've been there). Is it the heavy gallop. Maybe they need to collect better for a smoother canter. The stirrups could be a little longer as suggested in the beginning of the video. Cheers
