That both we and "it" will be together as now in fully recognizable form, but better. Others who we've known throughout our lives who are there with us will recognize us as soon as we join them. What if your child insists that they experienced no trauma at all...that she just realized she was gay, and therefore rejected the church she grew up in? I think we focus too much on trauma, and not enough on our sin nature.
