Just like walking back in time with the skillful mixing.
Rothwell Urban District Council and Leeds City Council have such a lot to answer for.
The castle area, Manor House, Manor Farm and pastures could have been so tranquil and dont get me started on my beloved railway.

Thank you for your enjoyable presentations. A couple of (covid/topical) footnotes: at the turn of the 19th century, Rothwell Haigh hospital was originally a Hunslet Union workhouse, and later, a part of it was used as a smallpox hospital. There was also a, smaller, 'isolation hospital' on Haigh Road and a, very small, dedicated smallpox hospital on Stye Bank Lane.

    • @SJ-zf4mf
