All of her issues/behavior were the reasons for the demise of the relationship.
What I don't understand is why some men even tolerate this? He should've never been in a relationship with her. Her issues, her problem. Why should he sign up to be miserable? After every apology, 5 minutes later she was back to the same foolishness. As a grown man you should never have to call people and have someone listen to your conversations on speaker phone.

I Love the clear message being sent out through this movie. Before going into any relationship, make sure you are completely healed from your past relationship. So you don't bring it into your future.
This case goes beyond her past relationships. Actually she punished every man for the mistakes of her father. And let's not belittle the effects the actions and inactions of parents have on their children. The problem is that she carried her father's mistakes to every relationship. She never healed from it.

She needed to have done some work on herself such as therapy to navigate the trauma her dad caused her by abandoning them for a side chick even though he was kind to her mom initially. It is deeply engrained in her subconscious.

Another great movie by Maurice Sam. The moral of story is that you don't take your relationship for granted. Trust on the lady's part was a serious problem. Altgough I can' totally blame her because of her past experience with her parents, she should of done the chores and make her relationship one that is worth while. On the other hand, the biggest mistake she made was to let someone else prove her man. That is what she shoud have done for herself. My girl just take the opportunity and run with it. I aint give her one wrong. Never play with people's feelings.

I don’t think Amira realized how deeply she was deeply affected, by her father’s actions towards her mother and her family. This is the reason she’s so insecure and obsessed in her relationships.
No wonder they don’t last.
She needs to get help, work on herself mentally and physically (especially the hair which has her looking old beyond her years), before she can have a decent friendship furthermore relationship with any man.
