Some of SNL's best skits and Cold Openings are all about Political Humor. Will Ferrell, Dana Carvey and the late Phil Hartman were chameleonic in their performances.
Does anybody remember Fridays? Larry David did an excellent impression of Nixon and John Roarke did terrific impressions of Jimmy Carter, Ted Kennedy and Reagan. A severely underrated and kind of forgotten show. Its on Tubi if anyones interested.
The one when Robin Williams plays Reagan using a earpiece which gets reciption from other places which turns his Q&A press conference into hilarious chaos.😊😊
Jim Belushi as Henry Kissinger receiving noble peace prize in 1973 then Vietnam war ended in 1975. Kissinger himself not wanted to receive because of the causal action principle violation. It is very funny because it is true. Noble committee just wanted end war by giving peace award to any tyrant who wish to end war or not start war.
I'm surprised you didn't include the Bush/Dukakis Debate sketch with Dana Carvey and Jon Lovitz; "A thousand points of light. Stay the course". "Sir, you still have a few minutes left".
@@politicalpanda2999 Same thing they did with Bill Clinton. In fact, them like other late night shows were ordered to not make fun of Obama, but the anti-Trump jokes are totally unfunny and biased.
@@amonrodriguez3518 We are going to have to agree to disagree on this one. I find Baldwin totally hilarious as Trump. But then I don't like Trump either, and I guess you do.
@@dennislogan6781 like em or not it was just a mean impression. Which makes it less funny. I don’t like trump, but you can’t come close too Hammond and even the new guy is better then Alec. Austin Johnson whatever

I hope we don’t get too many “political” videos on this date today

Will Ferrell as George W. Bush was the absolute best.
Just thinking about Will saying "Strategerie" as Bush gets me cackling! He was so hysterical.
Never really watched SNL before but anyone making fun of politics is definitely worth a watch! 🤣😂

Bush Sr and Jr on the fishing trip is a classic. Will Farrell as Jr and Dana Carvey reprising his role as Sr was a dream come true.
Any Will Ferrell sketch playing George W. Bush is hilarious. 🎉

I'm surprised you didn't include the Bush/Dukakis Debate sketch with Dana Carvey and Jon Lovitz; "A thousand points of light. Stay the course". "Sir, you still have a few minutes left".
Lovitz as Dukaukis - "I can't believe I'm losing to this guy!"
*1. Pepsi Syndrome* featuring a giant Jimmy Carter with commentary by Rodney Dangerfield
The one yesterday was pretty good too. And the fact they got the actual candidates to star is impressive

You forgot one important sketch: the Vermont sketch starring Adam Driver.
No chapters? No watch. Sad face.
Hello good morning 😮😮😮🎉🎉🎉
SNL TOTALLY UNFUNNY AND BIASED!
Agreed. They even had the nerve to paint Jimmy Carter as if he was some hip cool president who everyone loved.

@@the1magageneral323 TDS has rotted their brains. They are no longer capable of rational thought let alone being funny.
Alec Baldwin as Trump should have been number one.
He was awful. The worst impression of trump

The new guys impression is soooo much better! It’s actually completely accurate and not just an annoying characature lol. Just my opinions of course
