As my Co-commenters wrote already, this song is about her dearly beloved japanese Grandfather, a true gentleman (Angelina´s words)
Her Japanese Grandpa took her with him into Oslo, when she was much younger. The streets of Oslo saw her growing up.
This man was greatly respected by the homeless community of Oslo, for his help with food and organising jobs.
To honor his legacy, AJ was seen bringing dinner to some homeless people in LA on Christmas.
When lying in hospital in LA, knowing he would die, he reminded AJ, I will watch you from the moon, see everything you do.
Imagine when they discovered Grandma Mery was sick with the same disease. AJ nearly lost her mind. In her despair, she asked her angels to pray for her grandma, and pray we did. Someone up there heard us, so it seems. Mery Zamany is still recovering.

You want to see hear her doing a Disco song at 10 years old look up " I Will Survive" also go here her open for Allen Walker singing "Sing me to sleep" and "Faded" but she was sick when it was time for the concert yet she insisted on going on with the show,, so with a 102 fever and a sore throat she still killed it.
Angelina wrote this beautiful song in memory of her maternal grandfather who passed away in 2018. She said, "This song is dedicated to anyone who has lost a loved one. I wrote this song thinking about all the great memories I had with my grandpa and how much it hurts to lose someone. I hope this song finds a place in your heart, as it comes straight from mine."

Angelina signed with Republic Records in August of 2020. She was fourteen years old at the time she wrote this song. This song is her debut single with Republic Records and it was released in November of 2020. Angelina will be turning seventeen years old January 10, 2023.

Another great reaction guys!! Baby brother got it right, Angelina doesn't need dancers, sexy clothes, fireworks on stage or auto tune. Just Angelina and maybe a piano or guitar and a mic. Her voice box is an entire orchestra! Here she is in concert this past July in Norway where she performed 18 songs at 3 different concerts. Actually she worked with Egil the guitarist of band for I think 5 years until she moved to LA when she was 12. She did several Christmas concerts with the band but the last one when she was 11.

Angelina wrote this song shortly after her maternal grandfather passed away when she was 13 years old. Million Miles was the first song released after she signed with Republic Records at age 14. Million Miles was the first song, in my life, to make me weep. Angelina's voice has a positive physical effect on me. Three thumbs up! The video you're watching now was made when she sad 14. The song was dedicated to anyone who had lost a friend or family member. Angelina's grandfather died in 2018, when she was 12 years old. Her sorrow over losing him inspired her to write this song as sharing both grief and hope.
This was Angelina's first release under Republic Records. The first official video was had her lyrics and artwork from her grandmother, Mery Zamani. After the studio version you're watching today, Republic released an official music video. This video also has Angelina's sister, Juliette (8), in it. Juliette was 6 at the time she and Angelina lost their grandfather. Juliette also appears in "Suspicious Minds" and "Valerie."
Apart from these three videos, Angelina performed this song live at Norway's annual music festival. As a live performance, Angelina (16) was able to make subtle changes to the song. I recommend that the three of you react to this live performance.

There are 3 slightly different versions... there's a animated version that's got lyrics and worth a watch for those. I always wish reactors would consider doing all three, and talk about their reactions to all three and their slight differences. From other comments, you'll learn this was written after her grandfather's passing so it has some 'targeted' references but it's all pretty great. This is a co-written song, too. If you find her playing piano, you'll see this could be a tune composed by a learning pianist as well so - one of these years - we'll see her performance her own music, and more and more of it.
You fellows owe us something, too: bring us Ethiopian singers that you're impressed with.
