Sharing all the struggles and fun times running after a 2 year old while pregnant and my little hacks for surviving the week! After a very rough first trimester I was super grateful to have some one on one time with Sage.

My husband recently got a huge job promotion and had to relocate without us until we are able to purchase a home where he is at. Luckily it's only 2 hours away so we get to see him on the weekend but I've been solo parenting my 2 year old and 6 month old for about 2 weeks now and holy crap is it hard! Hang in there you got this!
you're a super mom! Its so tough doing it solo
I've been a single mum of two boys for the past 12yrs there is only 18mths between them.
It's tough you don't get any breaks, tired all the time, never get time for yourself and currently dealing with MS and FND I'm struggling to walk and stand daily, all with no help but you have to keep going for your kiddies as kids need us no matter what we're facing.
I have my good and bad days but it's a struggle.
I think your doing amazing and keep doing what your doing. You and sage are gorgeous and I'm so glad you have a wonderful husband like matt and I'm sure when his home you can all give him big hugs and appreciate each other.
Sending much love sweetheart keep being that wonderful wife and mum you are.
I can relate to this SOO much. My husband is a pilot so I’m alone with my young son many days a row. It’s daunting and fun at the same time haha! Love watching the reality of life! Thanks Nikole!

Thank you so much for talking about building your confidence as a mom! I’m a pandemic mom with a 2.5 yr old too and get so overwhelmed bringing my toddler out and about but this gave the push to just keep trying until it becomes more comfortable, tantrums and all ❤
Great video! Sage is talking so much, and growing up so fast. I remember with my 2nd pregnancy, my skin was very dry, too. I did use the Osea body oil and helped so much. Hope you feel better soon. Take care! 😊

I love your videos.❤ It's such an honest and sincere life with a toddler. It's refreshing to witness a mom that self cares herself. I enjoy watching you go to the gym and appreciate the simple things like a shower. As a mom I cherish those showers..lol.

Love your videos Nikole, I have a nearly one year old, he's one tomorrow and I'm scared taking him out too sometimes, but lot more confident now, me and my partner are working on having baby number 2, your advice is so helpful, with going in to toddler stage its a bit scary but also exciting, just need to learn how to calm tantrums. I remember when I was pregnant with Alex and was wondering what to do with my pregnancy and giving birth, you helped me a lot through that so thank you and I'm glad your second pregnancy is going well so far.
By the way you rocked that week with doing things on your own, I'm a full time mum so I am with baby all day and everyday and it is tiring but fun, I'm just as thankful as you though to have my partner to lean on when he's home from work or when he's working at home, can't wait for more of your videos 😊

I'm 21 weeks with my 1st baby after trying for 10 years. I enjoy all your content so much. I've been sick almost the entire time so I can so relate to how your feeling
My son is 1.5 and the mommy kiss it and the "where are those teeth when I'm trying to brush you" are so relatable. My son grabs my face and kisses me and gently strokes my face all the time and it just melts my heart.
I think you did great 👍 Going to the pet store is a great free kiddo activity, especially on a rainy day. I love that Sage wore her sunglasses in the aquarium store 😎
We will def be going back and yes you're right its a great rainy day activity
I’m always amazed that you film and do everything else! Congrats on baby 2. 🎉🎉🎉With my kid I try to have only snacks after his nap so he is hungry for dinner.

You did so good and Sage probably really enjoyed the extra mommy time, I bet you were extra tired tho. I know we're not supposed to compare as parents to make life easier for us haha, but you always inspire me with your content, thank you for sharing your life and your many interesting journeys with us :) Can't wait for the 2nd baby cookbook!

I totally relate to how you feel about going out with Sage solo! It wasn’t until my pregnancy with #2 that I started doing it more and building that confidence. Now that I have two, taking just one out feels like a breeze. Now I’m nervous taking both out though so I need to work on that haha
This!!!! I sort of felt lost and like I was under water or something taking both kids out by myself even just outside. 🤣
But most moms go out with their kids solo from the start since the dad is at work during the week?

Sage is growing up so fast!
I’m nearing the end of my husband being away for 2 weeks because of work. I’m home with my newly 2 year old and my 3 month old. Holy moly! While I appreciated my husband before, my appreciation for him has gone through the roof!
You have a beautiful pregnancy glow😊
Also, I totally relate to the COVID baby issue. Literally two weeks ago I realized that I never took my child to any stores. I am purposely trying to take my kid into the real world now, like running errands, not just going to the park. I took her to the grocery store and it was like going to Disney land. Mentally I find it very difficult but I have to push myself so my daughter understands there is a world out there.
Sage in the kitchen is the cutest thing
I love the age 2, too! I enjoy it even more now that my daughter is closer to 3. It's really fun =) One tip I'd like to share when changing poopy diaper is to invest in a bidet. I sit my toddler on the toilet and use the bidet to rinse her bottom. I feel like it's easier and also more hygienic that way. It also got her used to sitting on the toilet.
And you'll see, it gets better and better! Mine are 9 and 6 and so far every new age has been my favorite:)

Nicole you are such a good mum, i thing you have grown so much with your role as a mother. There we're times we're i didn't like to watch your videos any more because you looked very bad mooded and also overwhelmed, to be honest. I heard from my sister that the “pop” happens sooner with a second child because the body remembers how to accommodate the pregnancy a bit easier. She pop at about 22 weeks with her first child and popped at 14 weeks with her second child.

I actually bubbled a little bit during Matt's video.
Just FYI. I'm a mail carrier for the US Postal Service and when I got pregnant, my OBGYN told me I could not lift more than 10 pounds at work. So it really worried me to see you lifting at the gym. I knew a girl and her doctor told her 15 pounds but I never took the risk and lifted anything remotely heavy.
We all lift our older kids when pregnant and they are heavier than that. It's fine..

The first trimester with my second while taking care of my toddler has been difficult. I’m not useful.
I felt the same! And renovating a house at the same time is no fun

Yeah I hear you my 2.5 year old was a pretty decent eater and now he like hates everything but bread or brioche, cheese and maybe ham ( and his milk / water / some fruit pouches) . Wrecking me on daily basis lol.. uff

Just curious, how much weight were you lifting at CrossFit? I was so careful not to lift much at all during my pregnancy
If you are physically active and lifting weights before pregnancy, and you don’t have a high risk pregnancy, it is safe to keep lifting as the body is used to it. It’s not recommended to start lifting/heavy exercising during pregnancy though if you haven’t done this before as it puts a lot of stress on the body
It’s different for every exercise but my body is use to it now as I’ve been working out for years and more recently CrossFit for the past couple of years. I make modifications when needed and keep my weights at a certain level so I don’t over do it and am able to keep good form. Definitely not something you’d want to start doing for the first time pregnant.

Well like all the youtubers who post how they found out they were pregnant, they film their reaction to finding out but then wait for the end of the first trimester to post it. So when it was filmed she was 2-3 weeks but when it was posted much further along.
