Ahhhhhhmmm. What's "skiing like a grandma"?? I am a grandma going towards the 70s & I ski ALL terrains & I can snowboard blue/black runs & bumps! You meant to say, "now she skis like a novice or beginner" Oh OK, I thought that what you meant. Ride On!!
I did my first black diamond at Ski Cooper this year, then I went to Loveland and they had greens that were steeper!

Hello Team Huckhouse & friends of the channel & BHH Blog. Just a note: Please don't say ageist things like, "now they ski or board like an "old person" or "like a grandma or grandpa." The man who started his namesake clothing company, "Obermeyer Clothing": Mr. Klaus F. Obermeyer born on December 2, 1919 (age 104) is still alive. For his 100-birthday celebration, Klaus Obermeyer skied a down double black diamond run on Aspen Mtn. with only his upper ankles buckles tightened to prove a point about not over-tightening your bottom ski boot buckles thus cutting off the circulation to your toes & getting cold feet because of it. He is now 104 yrs. old now and still skies ALL terrains. I skied top levels & all terrains when I was 55+ yrs. old & that was some time ago now. I now board well now for ~10 yrs. I am an "older" person. Age is but a number. I've seen guys in their 80s snowboarding the terrain park like the best of them. Ageism is the last place where people think it's OK to make fun of old people. It's not OK & it's unkind. But when you're young you absolutely don't think about aging & what's that like even for folks who are in their 30s & 40s. Just be kind & remember...the hope that we all must live a long, good life means we are hoping to be "an old person" one day. Spread Kindness. Ride On!!
