This is a great ranking. I liked that u didn't just put 'classic line-up era' albums at the top and ignore rest of the albums (like some other youtube channels do) Great to see Orgasmatron in Top 3. I think the title track is quite important in Motorheads history & lyrics reflect Lemmy's outlook on life & his social and political views. Liked Sepultura's cover of that song as well.
Brilliant review and rankings; you really listened to the repertoire with an open mind and the result is honest and lacking the common clichés and received 'wisdom.' Love it ❤❤❤
My top 10 Motörhead albums: 1. Iron Fist 2. Ace of Spades 3. Bomber 4. Orgasmatron 5. 1916 6. Overkill 7. Another Perfect Day 8. Motörhead 9. Inferno 10. Rock & Roll
So happy to see 1916 getting some love. "I'm So Bad Baby I Don't Care" was the first Motorhead song I heard, so naturally I have some nostalgia for that era of the band. But it's a truly awesome album and severely underrated.
Top 6 in no particular order - Ace of Spades, Bomber, Overkill, Another Perfect Day, Orgasmatron, Bastards, and then 1916. Actually those are the 7 that I own. If Bastards had been marketed by their label it should have done very well, even in the confused music scene of the mid 90's. Sacrifice and Inferno are the only others I would consider.
A brave choice for no1 lol - its in my top 5 - orgasmatron is my no1 - very dissapointed with your low ranking of on parole / motorhead debut - but the rest spot on - a gr8 review tho
'Bastards' is still in my Motörhead top 3. Btw, I own it in the SPV repress, but a friend of mine has got the ZXY cassette version, I believe it's a nice collector item.
Bomber is way way too low here, it’s a classic, one of their very best if not the best. Motoriser In front of Bomber? Sorry that’s just wrong. It’s nowhere near as good and either is Sacrifice. 90% of Motörhead fans will tell you the same thing. Aftershock is really good too, I would have that middle, not last.
It is very difficult to make a rating, as all albums are different, but it is possible to single out an album of the decade - overkill, another perfect day, bastards, inferno.

Last place for Hammered too. But Aftershock somewhere in the middle. Love every album but I listen more Rock n' Roll and Another Perfect Day
I agree about Aftershock it’s their best after Inferno, they have many worse albums, the one he really got wrong though is Bomber, it’s a classic
Another Perfect Day in the thumbnail = Hell yes!!
Hard to rank Motörhead albums for me. Like 'em all 😊But I really like Hammered, found it different and darker. Love ' Walk a Crooked Mile' heavy dull!
