What I like about Pradip Chandra Sorcar (P.C. Socar Junior) is his dramatisation of the act s, his nice voice and smile. But if you ask me the truth about his magic skills, what most of the people in India would say, I would say definitely the opposite, which will hurt the sentiments of some of them, that I know. But I have to tell the truth. The truth is when the entire world is open through the internet, particularly through youtube, we see many quality magic acts by many international skilled magicians of the world, and we find that P.C. Sorcar’s magic acts are far and far lagged behind the international high skill magic acts of the world. Pre-historic magic do not go with present day world standard.
I am a great admirer of the legend magician....I was lucky enough to witness his magic in Mahajati Sadan..Kolkata.in my childhood....and I was spellbound by his performance...he is so captivating...literally takes you to another world...my respect to him and his family who has made Indian magic famous to the rest of the world..
In that Taj Mahal trick, background at 32:10 is completely different from 32:53 background. Trick is performed superbly.. Audience may be seated on open van. He just moved the van.
My school was hardly 500 feet away from the Magician Sorkar's home in Calcutta... We used to pass by Sr & Jr Sorkar every day,.. There was a warning sign on the gate "Beware of Lion" ... Both father and son were the world's biggest and respected magicians...
