The reason it has the title cards ever so many minutes is because every time there’s a title card is a new chapter in the manga, so the first title card on ep 1 is chapter 1, the second is chapter two, etc.
It’s basically a direct port of the manga.
It was also because it initially released one part a day (with it's own OP).
When Saiki was airing each segmement were aired by themselves as 5~ minutes mini-episodes on monaday to friday then all of them were rebrodcasted together as 1 whole full episode on the weekend.

By the way, the “Nanana-looking object” Saiki used to erase their memories is actually based on Nanana, the Tv Tokyo mascot, shaped as a number 7 since that is the channel number for Tv Tokyo.
As far as I remember in the manga only a strong blow to their heads was needed so he used an actual crowbar, maybe it was deemed too violent for tv?
in the manga instead of using that thing to hit people in the head to erase the memory he used a crowbar, so it looked like he was actually gonna kill someone.

I'm both a cat and dog person lol
I am a cat person, but dogs are fine, I just can't keep up with their energy lol
I actually love them both equally as much, but I am a cat person. Dogs just require too much fucking attention. With a cat all you really need to do is when its a kitten, teach it to shit and piss in the litterbox (which isn't that hard), and play with it (but it does just fine without you, you play with them mostly to make them like you more in the long term). Overall the only thing you need to do is just feed them.
If it wants attention, your cat will come to you and chill with you. With dogs everything is much more complicated: walk them, play with them, wash them, train them and even then they require constant attention. It gets annoying in a way, and it takes a lot of your free time.
I guess its just that cats are much more independent than dogs.
In the end i guess its just that introverts are cat people, extroverts are dog people, which makes sense.

I would say i'am more of a cat person, although i like dogs just as much. Its just that dogs require A LOT of attention: walk them, play with them, train them and much more. Especially when they ask for attention its really hard to just let them be, although you might have things to do.
With cats all you have to do is teach them to piss and shit in the litterbox when they are growing up, and feed them (also play with them as well, but you can always strike up a kitten with a game when you have free time, and they will play, but they also can just play with basically anything and be fine, unlike dogs, which strive from constant attention).
If they want attention they will come to you and chill with you, not bothering you too much. If they want to go out, you just let them. They're basically much more independent than dogs.
A mistake which many people do with (female) cats is castrate them when they still didn't have any kittens, and from what i have seen it just makes the cats more reclusive and aggressive, and I would prefer a dog over a cat that just eats and keeps hissing at you, if you just want to pet it.
I get why some people like dogs more, cats are much more hard to get love from, and they are dumber in some ways, they wont save or protect you, and they might even seem like they just use you to get fed. But if a cat loves you, it will give the love you want from a pet.
It cuts off so many times because it originally aired as 5 min shorts every day. After all the episodes were aired, the coupled the shorts together to form 25 min episodes.
Very late, but I'll throw this in too. I'm neither, but if I absolutely must pick one it would be a cat.
When I was little, no more than 4 years old, I got attacked by one of the cats my maternal grandparents had. Ever since then I had a hard time with them - even with the cats my sisters got I'd get really jumpy when they were around. At least one of them seemed to have some sort of understanding with me - he'd sometimes peek into my room, see me, look me in the eyes, and then leave. The other one wasn't as understanding, and also ruined an origami project I was about 2/3 of the way through with.
However, my experiences with dogs were far more impactful. When I was 1, we went to visit my paternal grandparents. I don't remember this myself, but I've heard many times how their little dog came running out the door as soon as we started getting out - and he jumped up to my face, bit my nose, and just sat there like that while I was in tears. I'm sure you can imagine how that would affect a 1 year old. I never had a good experience with a dog after that - usually dogs were behind fences and I'd just jump a little, but sometimes it got worse. One 'friend' I cut off after he made clear he wasn't one liked to set his dog after me when I was walking home from school/the bus in 4th grade. It was a tiny one and I was taller this time around, but the fear had been ingrained enough that it was hard to deal with. The next major case was in 5th grade, when a couple large stray dogs would come after me and my little sister walking home from school/the bus. I held them off with a viola case and that lasted weeks before the dogs were gone. If there's anything I have a phobia of, it's dogs. People unfortunately tend not to get it though, telling me things like I'd have no problem with their dog, their dog would be more scared of me, etc. I shocked one friend when I was visiting - around dinner I lost track of where the dog was, and it got to me under the table. I jumped, visibly, and almost knocked several things over. At that point they realized I wasn't kidding.
So yeah. If I had to get a pet, I'd get something like a fish. But if it had to be one of these two, it would be a cat. At the very least, I got comfortable enough with them to pet the one I had an understanding with in front of my sister, and it was the last memory of the two of us my sister had before her cat died. She probably really appreciated that.
