Good video, but I'm worried about you, you kept going on about your back, but you did not seem to notice a large black bug / beetle disappearing down your left ear hole 1 min 55sec into vid. 😅😮. Seriously though, you put lots of us to shame, and your doing amazingly. Hats off to you, well actually maybe keep your hat over ya ears. Take care.

I moved up from the same car as you to a vito van. I needed the higher bed space due to hip and back issues. Like you say it’s about having the option to get away. I also like the fact you can pull over and have a nap if you need it. My photography is very much from the roadside but it does give a challenge and make you look at the world differently. I used to love going to magpie mine but even that is too far now but I’ll keep finding those views

All hail the algorithm. I am disabled too, chronic lymphoedema, osteo-arthritis, in knees, hips, lower back, neck, nerve damaged caused by cellulitis & sepsis, 10 metres with 2 sticks is a struggle. If I were a horse they'd have shot me. Just ordered a Berlingo on Motability. Need something compact where everything is to hand just like you. I've asked for a push-pull hand control and a steering ball for times when I struggle with my right leg. Would hand controls help you? I appreciate spinal injury would still have a large bearing on sitting in a car seat for any length of time. My life seems to be about finding workarounds to manage my health issues. Not sure if I could use a bootjump as I need space for a large scooter and Citroen have inconveniently bundled the car with a rear mesh bulkhead. Anything to get me out the house with my cameras and wife, and get my scooter out the car independently will help my life tremendously. I've subbed as I am receptive to any transferable ideas and curious to see disability from another person's POV. Take care.

I too have spinal problems. I bought an ex sainsburys delivery van put a full size bed and diesel heater in it so i can get away and keep my home comforts. does the cold not wipe you out sleeping in your van?
