How do you choose when to use Flat Shot vs Top Spin? and how do you aim to hit those down the line shot? I point my left trigger to the top corner with green timing, and somehow the ball keep going to the middle??!
@@LarryT-h8p Thanks for watching! I barely ever topspin unless I am super out in the corner and trying to defend and come back near the center of the court, or if I am running out of stamina and just want to hit the ball in. You point your left trigger or left stick to the top? Should be left stick But yeah if that isn’t working, it could be that your forehand and backhand stats aren’t high enough. You need like 85-87+ to consistently hit the back of the line
@@MoreAyReef yeah I mean left stick haha. I'm pretty new and it's very frustrating when I can't do anything against the opponent's serve. My return always super weak and bounce in the middle of the court
@@LarryT-h8p It takes some time to get used to. I found that control shots (tapping the button) can lead to more accurate shots near the baseline. Power shot even with high fh/bh may not be that consistent. It’ll take some practice but once you get it, it’ll be great! Just gotta practice getting good timings and holding the left stick up throughout the entire hitting motion
I haven't been playing TS2K25 for long. I have a level 25 player who I pushed with very high service values but despite this I have a lot of difficulty positioning the target circle well with the right timing but only because it moves too quickly. I was sure that by raising the service values, in a certain sense this speed would decrease allowing for easier positioning but I don't think this is the case. As far as you know, can the "sensitivity" of the stick be changed in some way to improve the aim of the serve? Do you have any useful suggestions for me? Thanks and congratulations for your videos
Great question! I had the same issue with serving when I started out also. I suggest playing the format where you only get a point if you win on your serve (in exhibition). That'll let you serve over and over again to get the hang of it. Just practice moving the circle super slowly and eventually you'll get used to the speed. If you take a look at my oldest videos, I barely moved the circle because I had the same problem lol. Thanks!
Bro, I watch your videos and try to learn, but I really struggle with movement. Could you make a guide how to position myself after shots and in different scenarios?
@@Mink00100 Thank you! Maybe I’ll make a video on it but I can give a tip right now. Basically, where you position yourself depends on where your opponent is hitting from. If your opponent is at the center of the court, the chance of him hitting a very angled shot is low, and so you’re fine positioning yourself anywhere near the center. Now if say he is right handed and near the doubles line hitting a forehand, you want to be closer to the cross angled shot, and further from the down the line shot. It’s because when he goes down the line, you know the furthest distance that the ball can go is just a straight line downward. But if he hits a cross court shot, the ball could bounce inside the court but then go off entirely. In that case, you want to be a bit closer to that side so that you can reach the ball. If you had remained in the center, then you most likely would not be able to get to it. So basically the further off from the middle your opponent is when hitting their shot, the further off you want to be from the center in the opposite direction. It’s not an exact 1:1 though. Maybe 1:.5. So for every foot that he is away from the middle, you want to be half a foot away in the other direction. Hopefully that makes sense. I usually do it in my matches so watching that after reading this may help.
@MoreAyReef Got you. Thanks for the tips. So it' s basically like irl. The thing I also tend to do is leave my finger on the d pad for too long and they easily wrong foot me. I guess I should tap them more instead of pressing them for too long.
I think it is okay. I do believe it has much better tennis physics than topspin or tiebreak, but I just can’t get over the running animations. I like full ace simulator the most if you want realism though
That guy cheese served nearly every point kept moving during big points on service line boo. You played sone incredible shots my one critique is you played the defensive slice when you were on the offensive it cost you points. You didn’t win enough free points off your serve. I seen you serve better you could have beaten that cheese ball even sooner. Fun match to watch
Thanks! Yeah, I definitely got a bit too defensive when I should have been going for more aggressive winners. It's tough to keep track of the gameplan when times get tough haha
Either an AI bot or cheating. Impossible to move like that with those speed amd stamina stats. Personally I find it near impossible to play with anything less than 72ish in those attributes. Any lower and I become a slug, unable to move and my shots lose all depth, width and power - yet my opponents always seem unaffected. I smell a rat.... 😂. Well played.
What a match, what a match! I hope you all enjoy!
