Wonderful concert and performers. The congregation must have been so proud of their new instrument being used in this amazing setting. You don't need an 80-piece orhcestra to perform an organ concerto! This was beautifully balanced, rich, and truly amazing!

At first hearing I made a cursory examination of Reinberger's biography and discography which appears to be rather thin. I am intrigued by this work and especially enjoy the second movement. The colors created by horns, organ and various strings woven together hint at a reminiscent pastoral setting.
