Not gonna lie, boys, I much prefer these old style of video compared to the 2019 uploading storm with 100 random guys. I'm envious of your friendship/brotherhood. Wish I had good hunting buddies.
"Why are my hands between two pillows?"...."Those aren't pillows!" lol Planes,Trains, and Automobiles reference, if you didn't know already. Too funny.
Love watching your films, lost count of how many times I watched your DVD'S, it's just the friendship and teamwork that you guys have that make them so good. Keep it guys. a roll on September, cannot wait to be in Colorado, travelling all the way from England, UK.
+massaweed420 Yeah, well be landing in Denver on 13th September, getting our tags from the DOW office the following morning and into the backcountry till 24th, cannot wait!!
awesome man! you should check out the areas around ouray, colorado (which is down in the southwest corner of the state) and check out the wet mountains (which is the san carlos ranger district). those places are a few hours away from denver, but are freaking amazing country, and some massive elk in those areas. how long you gonna be in colorado?
+massaweed420 we'll be hunting for 11 days, we were in the same unit in 2013 when Rudy from Huntography filmed us, so we have prior knowledge of the area we are hunting. I've been hunting Elk every other year since 2008, this is my 5th hunt and hopefully the one I get my first Elk. Called in a 350+ 7x7 in 2014, but he stopped behind fallen timber, which covered the vitals, I had tears in my eyes as I watched him walk away.
David Bailey i have yet to hunt, but i work with the forest service, and am always running into hunters in bow season. always running into elk too, but its usually far away from wherever the hunters are. they eventually learn to stay away from places that hunters frequent. good luck this season, and i hope you get your first elk!!
Great video guys! If you have hunted then you have undoubtedly forgotten something that you really needed. Thanks for letting us enjoy what you forgot.
Forgot my sleeping bag 30yr ago on a hunting trip north of John Day, glad it was opening weekend. Had to use coats, shirts and a small tarp - now I bring two sleeping bags.
We don't really use bike trailers anymore, but when we did we used just the typical kid bike carts and then Kodys he had specially made at where he worked at the time.
Born and Raised Outdoors Did you guys abandon the bike/trailer style of access? Or do you still use bikes sans trailers? I've considered the bike/trailer concept to go where others won't.
Johnbobon We haven't used them the past 3 seasons because of the change in access rules from the timberlands. We will be using them this year though. Can't wait to get back on them and peddle up some BULLS!
Friend lost my bag 3rd season rifle on the horse pack in. Cold and snowed like a bitch that nite, I can relate. Loved the vid and the brotherhood! That's what it's all about.Well Done!
