Nice video! Is the shoe rack capable of holding men's shoes? My hubby is really meticulous about his footwear. I don't want the shoe to deform while remaining upright.
My hubby has size 10 shoes and they fit in without issues, but items like boots or anything with a longer/ higher ankle area design may be a problem... also it cannot be overcrowded so typically each rack can hold 2 of my hubby's and 1 of mine or my childs

Such haul videos are really useful, as they are not sponsored and are something one would have in their wish list but can't seem to decide :). I love the aesthetics of your style. Wish the chindi rug was not printed on but woven in dyed colors, but then it would have been too expensive :(. Please do more of these as you decorate your home. It would have been nice if you showed the products in their designated places, especially the 9th product :) I do suspect though that you will end up spray painting the stool foot frame :). Pls do do an update to the items after washing them, whenever you do wash them as it will be very useful to those who are on a limited budget and need things to last. I appreciate you for being so conscientious in terms of not altering the rented property in any way, every landlords dream tenant!

@@NestArtfully Thanks. Anusha, I know you love gardening and maintaining house plants. Some of us, like me, are wary of trying for the fear of killing the plant. Would you do a parallel series, or at least a few videos of how to start from scratch, kind of soil to use, how to use cocopeat, preparation of the soil, kind of pots and planters, where to buy, fertilizers, watering, do we have to buy everything or can we recycle and make stuff to use at home, the full deal, but with hand holding :). I live in a small apartment with a small balcony, as is the case with a lot of your viewers.
@@NestArtfully The chindi rug is lovely, the color really appeals to me, anything with rust/orange in it. I'm keen to buy it right away. Do you think it can be washed at all...are there any washing instructions on it?
@@Anione111 I do have some plant care for beginners and even plant options for beginners videos, please do check them out. If you are super keen to get more green but want to do it with less tension then I definitely suggest you research hydroponics and plants that can simply be grown in a bottle of water like pothos, dracena, spider plant, cissus creeper and so on ... this will really be helpful for you!

Thank you so much and I do love round rugs, I see several good options on Amazon too with good ratings, the same seller I purchased the jute area rug from also has round options... I personally suggest either cotton or jute as they are easy to maintain... the acrylic variety tends to become folded and sad looking if washed in the machine...

Please suggest some curtains for west window ..it's large living area 9feet window, afternoon scorching sunlight comes ..I want some colorfull makeover.
If you get plenty of sunlight in this case post-noon light then I suggest going for combination of thick drapes as well as sheer curtains in a double curtain set-up or you can opt for blinds +sheers... just sheer curtains may not be functional enough. You can go for plain sheer and patterned drapes or the other way around solid drapes and patterned or embroidered sheers

Hi Piyali, nothing specific but it gets vacuumed at least every alternate day... I have the robotic vacuum and with that cleaning rugs have always been rather easy for me.... otherwise from a stain and looking dirty perspective, Jute has no issues like other wool, acrylic or cotton based rugs

If somebody heavier on weight sits on the foot stool,then the legs will break..foot stools are just for bearing the weight of your foot (light weight)as your entire body weight is on chair and foot is resting on Foot stool.

Actually the product is quite sturdy to sit as well. I'm not sure max weight it can take, but upto 80-90 kgs seems fine

It is a 6-seater Home Centre product from a collection called the Cane Connection but I think they stopped making this particular design as I wanted to provide the link but don't find the product anymore

Thankyou so much. The curtains are custom made from a local shop in Goa. Yes the curtain size requirements might change, that's why we got them stitched as separate panels so we can use accordingly. For length, we can adjust by folding and stitching in case we need shorter curtains. Otherwise this height is quite long, so don't expect to use longer curtains elsewhere :)

The Balinese masks 2 were purchased from Thailand and 2 of them from a curios and antiques shop on Commercial Street in Bangalore, the smaller masks are from Sri Lanka :)

Thanks I agree with this. I do buy as much as I can from local sources and will be showcasing them soon. But also to note that many sellers on Amazon are also small businesses who get a wider reach due to that platform. For e.g I recently bought a cane product from a seller in Assam through Amazon, as I couldn't find a similar one locally

Glad you liked our videos :) Well truth is I'm not a minimalist never have been :) but I'm not a maximalist or hoarder either, I usually buy things after thinking them through but due to some personal incidents, as a family we also lived with nothing but our belongings that fit into 4 suitcases and the amazing thing I discovered is that even less can make a mess... there is no easy way around this, yes some products make life easier like dishwasher and robotic vacuums etc., but eventually the work has to be done by us! My motivation to do up a home the way it brings me joy is not so that it always looks perfect but because on the days when the house looks like a dumping ground I remember that something beautiful hides under all that mess and it inspires me to get on my feet and clean :)

At the end of the day we are all humans, family, other work, health all these things take precedence over keeping our home photoshoot ready and i think that is healthy and fine. My mantra is don't put your life on hold for visual aesthetics... create an organization system instead to ensure your home supports your dreams. And this I'll definitely be making videos on. Hi Rehana, it looks like a polycotton mix... however the sheer texture lends it a more cotton fabric look... I personally prefer the cotton/linen texture

From size and comfort perspective, I think you can use it as a yoga mat. However, I'm not sure if it will give the grip provided by a rubber yoga mat

Actually in many cases it is cheaper online than in retail shops-fronts often because small businesses online don't have to create too much inventory pay high retail rents and splurge on marketing... In personal experience the big ticket items have always been cheap online... but handicrafts are usually budget friendly from small towns and villages and always worth it to pay them what they ask and support their craft, but it can't be always easy to stumble on them :)

Hw to u maintain juit material?hw do u clean it?
Its really just vacuuming on a regular basis, there isn't much trouble with stains or such but of course pets may chew on it and snagging if you place furniture on it with sharp corners... but for that nothing really to worry about
