Hi team, can you help me with my scenario:i have line graph where i have to show month wise actuals from Jan to dec and where ever month actual is blank has to shown based on last month with formula like divide (latest month, lastest month num)+latest month actuals.and also want to show the same formula for future months as well. For example i have actuals till May but i want to show the future months values also based on previous month actual with above formula.can some one advise the dax formula
That's a great question, and I think others would benefit from knowing the answer too! I'd suggest posting this to community.powerbi.com/ where it can get marked with a verified answer, and then provide better visibility for others to see the solution as well. 😊
I would really like to see a customizable data label like in Excel. I have a user that created a cool visual with little cars as the data labels. Would love to do that in Power BI!
@@rjsiii3 I believe he was referring to Microsoft Data platform as a whole. The Gartner quadrant does not distinguish Power BI, but instead takes the whole BI platform into account, hence the 10+ years.
@@dutchdatadude I hear ya. Recruiters do that sometimes as well. I was working in ms bi back then. It was SSRS ssis and ssas. Crystal reports was strong then and tableau and qlick were the new things. I just wish power bi got a stronger foothold in that stack. I don't think companies have figured out how to get power bi docs as sharable as excel. I think that's coming soon though.
Exactly engage all levels of end users!!
100 people for desktop is considered small? I was thinking at most there were like 20-25 folks.
The gap between a PBI dev and end-user can be huge and I specialize in bridging that gap.
I heard him say, a number of times, that they may be breaking the functionality of bookmarks. That might not go over too well.
They are creating new features to replace bookmark features such as toggling object visibility. Bookmarks will remain unchanged though :)
Kinda wish MSFT would buy this guy a better camera...

Cool idea!
Dark mode was there in the beginning. So saying that it wasn't designed in, is a little false.
It was also released in 2015 so 10 years is also a stretch.
