so the thing i have now noticed about the garmin r10 videos is that in not 1 video is an amateur or beginner who is hitting the ball with a R10. all are guy who are pretty good at hitting the ball straight. i am eager to know if a person who slices a ball used the R10 to help them fix this issue and if the R10 actually and correctly detects the slicing problem
If you can, could you do something on the Home Tee Hero mode please? I'm just wondering if every game has to be a full 18 hole game, or if you can choose just certain holes, front 9 etc. Not sure I want a full 18 hole game every time! Thank you
Nice work! Thanks for the video. Have you tried to purposely top the shot and see how the R10 goes? or even purposely mishit ? Would be interesting to see how it reports the numbers.
Does the r10 have a shot history view? Would love to see like 3 shots with a certain club, there numbers and the grouping and how well all that works on the garmin app if it's there
Do you really think you swung 10 mph faster between the two swings in the video? 68 vs 78 seems like a big jump. The first swing had a 1.24 smash while the second swing would have had a 1.10, yet almost identical spin rates? I do question the accuracy based on the small samples you provided. Thanks for sharing, and please post more.
I did, I was taking it very easy, snd the second one was a terrible strike. I have used it more over the last few days, my normal swing speed with a 6i is 83-84 mph which is what I am now up to. Spin does seem to be down about 500rpm now I am up to normal speed (replaced the net so can now go for it)
I have a very similar setup to you at home. I just can't make up my mind between the r10 or skytrak, is this just more portable and easy to setup than the skytrak?
If they were both at the skytrak price point, I would now pick the garmin, so at the price the garmin is, I see it as a bargain, much easier to get started with and use
Thanks for the info guys. Decided to take the leap. Just had my 2nd son born yesterday so my trips to the golf club will be less frequent for a while! Couldn't really afford the skytrak until November. Thanks for the info and look forward to receiving it.
Please do a video on you playing a quick 5 holes or so. I would also love to see a video of this thing at the range. Just really interested in how accurate it really is. Are you enjoying it ?
I am finding it very accurate, it does not seem to matter if is the range of the net. I am really enjoying it, I like to practice and had a skytrak previously, I am already finding the garmin more useful
I just chatted with Joe from Garmin Support, asking how to access the free E6 golf courses. Garmin Joe replied: I believe you will receive those 6 free courses when you register the device with Garmin. In the Garmin Golf™ app, select Golf Sim > TruGolf E6 Connect > Play on iOS. Follow the on-screen instructions. It looks like you have to link Garmin Golf to your R10 before you can access TruGolf E6 Connect. I tried it out on my iPad but since it isn't connected to an R10, I was transferred to Garmin's R10 ordering page. I hope that helps. Give it a try if you're ready to register the R10, and let us know what happens.

Hello - Did yours come bundled with 5 IOS E6 Connect courses?.....if so, how were you able to activate?
It did, in the garmin golf app there is a code for e6

It’s very very close, in all averages of a amateur swing then I would say it’s a 100% match
