Scenic Flight Above Garnish Island, West Cork: Experience the Magic of DJI Mavic 3 Classic

- Filmed in 4K with my DJI Mavic 3 Classic. First time i have really used this new drone.
Garnish Island/Ilnacullin is an island garden of diminutive size and rare beauty. Nestled in the sheltered coastal harbour at Glengarriff in Bantry Bay, West Cork, the gardens display a wealth of unique horticultural and architectural gems. Bryce House is a fitting memorial to the visionary creators of this unique place.
The gardens of Ilnacullin owe their existence to the early twentieth-century creative partnership of Annan and Violet Bryce, the island’s owners, and Harold Peto, an architect and garden designer. The area enjoys a mild and humid micro-climate that makes for spectacular and flourishing plant life all year round.
Small ferry boats and 60-seater waterbuses take visitors to Ilnacullin regularly. The short crossing usually includes an extra treat - a visit to the nearby seal colony and an opportunity to glimpse majestic sea eagles.
Well worth a visit if you are in the area. There is a great coffee shop where the boat arrives, and the walk around the Island takes around 45 minutes. Great views from the Italian Gardens.

Hi David. Yes, it's a long time. I bought the drone when it first came out, and that was the first time I flew it. I have had the Mavic 3 for months but I had no time. Anyway I am glad you liked the video. I am not so happy with it, but I am happy it was a first attempt to film with it. Another video next weekend from my trip to West Cork . Liked #8, Does the Mavic 3 Classic have built-in HDR? It looks very dramatic in colors and contrast. Beautiful lakeside port town with many small islands and plenty of green pastures. Garnish Island of West Cork looks fantastic! Enjoy your flights and have a fun-filled day, take care 🍺🍻
